Bought the xA from Scott Scion, had a horrible time, but they had a car that no one else in the state had, so I had to

Bought the Mustang from Big Two Scion, had a really nice time dealing with Ron Williamson.

When I trade in the xA sometime next year I'll go visit CB, otherwise Mark said he'd "kneecap" me, whatever that means

I think you misunderstood me. I never talk that way. I always say I'll hit somebody so hard their ancestors will bleed.... but I never threat someone's knees.

I'm sure John Stanley would be interested in seeing some of this about Power. I'll let him know about this. I hope things would change.

But I thought we had a dealer feedback forum somewhere? Isn't this the same? Enough polls! j/k!

I purchased from Big Two and was not very happy with my service. I was "duped" into going down there when I was on the phone when they told me "c'mon down and we'll work with you" when I asked about playing with the price since the only one in town in the color I wanted they had but it had the extra air bags which I didnt want but they said they would work with me.

When I got down there it was the typical story of "oh that person isn't here and neither is her manager, but she should have known better than to have told you that. We can still offer you the car." At the time I was not aware of how strict the PURE PRICE system was otherwise I would have been more leary when she told me that over the phone.

Another issue I had was that the alignment was off as soon as I got the car and had to take it back TWICE to be fixed since they weren't able to fix the alignment the first time for some reason and it kept pulling to the left.

I personally thought Denny was nice though and did a good job taking care of me, I don't blame him for the alignment not being done right and was pretty courtious, I think he is a little slow on calling back but he still did call me back.

I'm debating going to either Camelback or Scott and it really comes down to one thing... the rate of sales tax. Phoenix is 8.1 and Scottsdale is 7.95. I could save hundreds of dollars over the life of the loan by buying at Scott....

And lets not forget the hundreds of dollars you'll save during a loan because a salesman referred you to his insurance agent. Just one example of how service will save you a lot more than .15% sales tax.

Uh... no you can't.

The sales tax difference on a xB with automatic is a whopping $23.11. I don't care what interest rate your loan is at, that won't amount to much at all over the life of a loan.

Did someone over at Scott tell you that? I know it wasn't Steve. Who are you dealing with?

No one, really. I'm just being cheap. I know the sales tax is inconsistent all over the Valley and I'm trying to save as much money as possible. I deal in percentages and money all day at work, so it's natural [unnatural and unhealthy, probably] that it would bleed over into my car purchase.

However, since I can't even see the same guy every time when I visit Scott Toyota, I think Camelback Scion is going to be the winner.

Glad to hear no one tried to spin tax as a significant savings. The only guy I know over there is Mr. Steve Dargo.... I didn't see him doing that.

Come on over the Camelback, we'll take good care of you. In fact, be sure to come to the meet tomorrow night!

PM me your email address and I'll send you a link you can build a car on using our menu.
