Hey folks in the AZ. I had along talk with Steve aka Roswell Scion yesterday about the show, classes, what they are going to have for us to do and so forth. It sounds like they have their act together and got the blessing and backing of Scion Corporate for this show.

I told Steve that I would try to get some hard numbers and get us more organized for this show with the AZ folks. I know many people are waiting on the Vegas show, but as of now there is not a date and we have been waiting months on months for it. The Roswell Show is already plannned, dated and everything for those that are debating.

There will be cars from New Mexico, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Kansas City, Oklahoma!!!! They are expecting 100 or more Scions at this event. It will be the biggest Scion Meetin the SW thid year[/color]

The caravan to leave will be heading out of PHX around 8-9 am on Friday Sept 22nd. It is a 9 hour drive from what I hear. If someone has made this drive and can point out some good stopping points for food, gas and sights that would be great. Never done it before!!

I dont know about that. Boomster and I are staying at Fairfield but they are BOOKED already.




BTW - There is a Military event that same weekend so rooms are getting hard to come by!!!

ok i have my hotel reservation at the HAMPTON INN but have no registered yet till i get more information on the sound off and if you can get a better rate by signing up for both.

 

I just reserved my room at the Hamptons and also signed up for the car show and entrence fee w/ benifites (for my lady) so my scion family I will see you there

 

I have made the trip and can say that aren't that many rest stops or awesome sights along the way. One stop is Las Cruces which is where I will be in September. I will meet you all there and ride into Roswell with the caravan. Las Cruces has some amazing food as does Roswell. I hope you like green chile. :D

Oh, and BTW, I'll be at the show too. I'm gonna stay at my house. You can put me down. ;)

I would like to recommend that next to the persons SL ID that the hotel they will be staying it is also listed so that anyone that is thinking about making a reservation known where people are staying and don't end up at a hotel by themselves or maybe want to stay at the same hotel as someone else. Just a thought
