ok so im putting my self in charge in having a scion road trip, cause i really enjoyed going to Roswell,NM.

so i want to do something like that, if there is a show involve well then YAY, if not,

it will be a great way to spend time with everyone and to show that Arizona has the best Scion community.

Here pretty soon...We will announce the Roswell show dates(will be nearly the same time as it was this past year). So...this could be a little road trip for the beginning of the summer. I'm down with a four corners meet to bring AZ, CO, and us NMers all together. Say late May or June?

I would suggest California, you can pull from Northern Cali and tons of peeps in Southern Cali. Lots of resources and easy to plan, also the opportunity for members to get in early or stay after wards to play.

im feeln' that. im down ta go all north, maybe a trip to Lake Shasta up by Redding? (100ft bridge to jumpoff) Cherry head flats? best damn rope swing in tha land and fresh mountain water. Im sure everyone has got hooks out there for rooms and floors ta sleep on (or atleast in cali somewhere). a costal trip to north cali would be best though. the summer gets to me by June. i took a trip up there one summer, n ill never forget it! we'll call it the Great Scion Migration.[/quote]

I like Cali! But for an inner-state run, have we done Flagstaff or Presscott? I know when we did Jerome a few of us branched off and hit Prescott on the way back (what a ride that was especialy for tC owners).

I guess I suggest Cali, Flag, or Prescott.

 

I like Flag or Prescott. That way some could head back at night, some could stay over and make it a 2-day deal.

If you really want to be bold and step up the bar for road trips. Plan a road trip to Denver, the show can be held at the SCION regional offices. They can run but they can’t hide!! I suspect that they can do lots, car show, entertainment, maybe some time attack, etc, etc.

It is 800 miles, a very long trip, it is a major reach, and you said throw in the ideas. Throw that on the back burner and let it simmer.

 

I'd make a trip to Denver without hesitation. I'd also make a trip to northern AZ trip or So-Cal if it took less than a full week.
