Default Scion Steps Up - Fallen Heroes xB Is a GO!!

I want to say "Thank You!" to the people at Scion's Denver Region, including Mike Allen, Gabrielle Cohen, Scott Allan and Lorraine Johnson, for stepping up and funding the Fallen Heroes Scion.

Politics aside, this idea struck a chord with me, as I imagine it does with many others in the Scion community. The issues that this car brings to mind are relevent to all of us not just today but in the past and future too. This project, that Robert Basil conceived, is a means for us all to show our an support our troops whether or not we believe in their mission.

It's very cool when Scion takes us to the movies or sponsors a meet like the run to Vegas. It's an entirely different thing to have them see a need and step up, as any responsible company should, and give back to the community in an intangible way such as this.

Please let Scion know how we feel by posting your thoughts here.

Mark

That is awesome. Thank you very much Scion Denver Region and all of the Scion community. I am sure, like most of you, you are either involved in the military or your family is, and it is great to know how much honour and support we can give out troops. No matter how large or small it may be and on whatever level it may be.

Thanks again, can't wait to see the next mock up!!!!

I have been up for more than 36 hours so I'll keep this short (for now).

I want to thank both Scion and the Scion community. What a kick ___ group of people to help me make this project a reality.

The final design is up and on the website: http://www.fallenheroescar.com

Now I'm going to take a nap, I'll post more when I wake back up tonight.

The guy who I have been working with over the past few days to set this up is Mr Alan Mimaki He is the Scion Business Operations Manager out of Torrance California so it looks like the sponsorship came directly from the Scion HQ. Woo! Hoo! The BIG HQ!

Damn, it's been SO hard to keep it a secret this week that Toyota / Scion was going to foot the rest of the bill. I wanted to tell everyone but had to wait until I signed all of the legal paperwork.
