hi guys! i was guys wondering how much money wud i loose if i traded in my 2007 scion tc with a scion xb?? i already put on initial down payment of 3700 for my tc..i only had my scion tc for 3 months..the reason why im trading it in is because il be having someone with me soon and probably a bby and i like a family car or it..any suggestions and comments?? thanks guys!!
You would only loose a little money if you found some private party to buy your tC. The xBs are a lot less money, so you should come out pretty good. If you try a dealer trade you might be able to trade even--thereby loosing 3 g's or so. Good luck.

your 2007 tC just became a used car............check it's value on NADA , or Kelly Blue Book online.
However talk to CB scion they need tC's, they are selling like hotcakes , so you might not get hurt too bad ., there is just no way they are gonna give you what you paid for it , it cant be done and still have room to mark it up for re-sale..
It's just how the car business works..........................
If it was'nt that way the wife would be drivin a new 07 tC ,instead of the Magnum, but we cant get enough for it cause it's only 2 yrs old and the bank loans are front loaded with interest and you dont start paying off the principal for a few years........
Unless you wanna trade your tC for a Magnum

I just traded in my 05 tC and broke just above even as far as what I owed on the car. And I got a 2006.5 xB. But then again you have an 07 tC so the hit would be felt more since you just put down the +3 grand a few months ago. I had the tC for about 1 year and beat the hell out of that thing with over 18000 miles. I also put 3000 down but it was fine for me when I got the xB because I can def say I got my 3 grands worth out of the tC!!! LOL
I also just traded my 2005 tC that I got 18 months ago, and had 18k miles on it, for a 2007 tC with 0 miles. They gave me $15,500 trade-in, which is about 800 less than what I paid for the car new. I could not be happier with how that worked out, and yes, I must second going to Camelback, Mark and Ron were awesome to deal with.

yea well I lost about 2K off my tC Value wise in a Year. But if you factor in Tax (800ish+reg.+interest) Probably lost around 4K total. Its only the Tax and interest that screw u over. Reg. is a given.
But i got my moneys worth out of it. ran it like a ****, redlined more than like 30 times a day
U shuld find a private party, tell them ull help them out on the taxes and since u paid reg. they will be happy about tht.
Shld be able to get 15K-15.5 for a manual and 16K-16.5K for an Auto.
If i was lookin for a tC, I'd pick up an 07, 3 months old for 1K less than Dealer,No registration, and a cheaper tax break and destination fees and stuff.
