Default Scion VIP Vegas Pics and results

The HIN / Scion VIP Vegaa show was crazy! I just got home and will have my pics up tomorrow.

I know some Scions won trophy's, and also Scion VIP won a 6ft tall trophy for largest club participation. I "think" I won the trophy for best vinyl. A fellow Scion xB owner told me I won, but I was not in front of the stage when they called the award so I guess I'll find out for sure when they post the results on the Hot Import Nights website. I wonder if they can ship me the trophy.

Post your pics!

I wanted to start a thread for people to post results AND pics instead of having multiple threads. I posted ONE of the results (Scion VIP most cars entered trophy) and now we are waiting on the pics and rest of the results....

For "not being a *****" you sure are doing a good job.

I'm sure people will start posting pics tonight.

I'm not going to bother replying to this assinine comment. If you have a personal problem with me feel free to call me at 480.659.1065 and I'll be more than happy to discuss it in person with you.

Yeah I kinda do have a issue with it.. You go on and on about how you should be let in because of what the outside of the box says. That you didnt see why you where not on the VIP list. Then you _____ and complain and say that there is to many politics and you would rather stay out of all the shows and just do the "local" stuff since you didnt have enough mods to qualify. I guess you deleted all the stuff about how show politics suck.
Glad to see you made it and in the booth with Scion, Atleast that is what I had heard. Guess Im just voiceing what other people are asking also. Why a change of heart all of a sudden about showing at HIN when you needed more lights to "fit in".

Now how about some pics please.

Like I said above you have no clue what you are talking about. I chose too go to the show because of what SoGone said in the other thread. He said it was my responsibility to go no matter how I felt about the "politics" to show support for our troops and I agree with him 100%. While I think the politics of car shows are assinine, my personal feelings should not override promoting the orginizations that support our troops.

How about calling me so we can discuss it? I've got better thaings to do than argue with you on the forum. If you want to call me and discuss it like a man please do. Otherwise my discussion with you about this subject is over.

Moving on.....

The National Guard, Army and Marines were all in attendance at the show. I have a TON of photos of them posing with the FHC. One of the soldiers honored the FHC by placing the dog tag of his best friend who recently died in Iraq on the rearview mirror and that is where it will stay.

I also have a few good looking female soldiers posing with the car.

SO since Scion VIP won the Team Participation award and there is $300 that goes along with that trophy, I hope the money was divided up with the group???

In case those that are wondering where I found it

I was not aware of the $300 (and I don't think the Scion VIP crew were either).

The money usually is given to the person that collects the trophy.

Myself and another Scion owner from SoCal (don't know his name) collected the trophy. (We were the only ones from the VIP group watching the awards presentation when they announced the winner). We were not told by anyone at HIN about any $300.

Results from the show

Wild was a Scion xB that was so insane it was crazy to see in person. Dont know who the owner was, they showed alone

All the Scion VIP cars competed in Mild Scion Class for one trophy. Which went to a good friend of mine TheFoth from WA. Congrats Dave, too bad you werent out there. We were about equal with tC's and xB's. Just missing the xA.

ScionVIP and all those that helped make the show a success I applaud you on a well done effort. The tent, air coolers, beverages, food and gifts were awesome. I know the turn out was not as good as you would have like to have seen, but for those that went WE REALLY appreciate all that you do for us. Im sure for those that HIN Vegas was their first event with you folks was an eye opener for them and were impressed.

Thanks to Scion Corporate for making it out as well and chatting with us fellow Scion owners and taking the time to mingle with us. Cant wait to see you at HIN PHX.

Again thanks to Preston, Mike and all those that helped out ALL DAY LONG and never complained, got tired or didnt want to help a Scion Owner out!! You are the troopers at these events. Sorry, if I missed you names, but we all know and will remember who you are!

I agree 100%! While my personal feelings about the planning leading up to the event are well known, the Urban Racer / Scion VIP crew did a FANTISTIC job of taking care of every single Scion owner that walked into the tent. I was very impressed.

I would like to thank ScionVIP for the wonderful event they put on, I don't think it could have gotten any better. The food was great, the hospitality was wonderful and you guys seem to outdo yourselves with every show.

The Scion xB that won wild class was shawn from Northern California. He also won wild at HIN LA.

The money that ScionVIP won for participation was given to Preston to send to Scion Corp.
