Default Silver City Run and Breakfast !!!!

O.K. Folks
We need to make a decision about Breakfast with Precision Scion........
So far the general feeling (based on what I've seen on the boards) is that it is a NO because of time consideratiions.

It's cool with me either way , but we have to decide so Clone 1 can , make arrangements , and does'nt have to jump through hoops at the last minute!!!!!!

SO lets take a vote and see what everyone wants to do ?????

You need to realistically lay the time line down, understand that we are caravanning and the speeds will be moderate. I would “begin with the end in mind”, pick an arrival time around 2 to 3 and work backwards. Stopping at TX canyon, this should tell us what we can do in Tucson, the drive up the 10 and what time we need to leave Phoenix.

After this is done it can be published, if we have some stragglers they will know how to find us.

Also need to consider how long it would take to feed 20 plus people and then get themm back on the road again.

Default Breakfast

I'm probably gonna get slammed for this !!! But I say we should stick to the original plan and forgo the breakfast...............
It's gonna take a long time to feed 30+ people and alot of folks are concerned with time .

So lets just meet @ TTT in Tucson and enjoy the cruise to Texas Cyn. and shoot some pics then cruise on into Silver

Phoenix drivers - Bring cash for Krispy Kreme and fill up. Sugar highs will get you far in the car!

Switch breakfast to fast food in Tucson. Precision can probably do that. There will prolly be a few people that come out and see us off and that is good exposure for Precision and us.

People need to eat.

The photo-op at Texas Canyon is a 15 minute/stretch your legs stop. That's about an hour and 15 minutes out of Tucson.

Then we're off to Lordsburg then 45 miles north to Silver City.

IF WE LEAVE KK AT 8:00AM SHARP

Tucson at 9:30 | EAT | Depart @ 10:15

Texas Canyon @ 11:30 Depart @ 11:45

Lordsburg @ 1:00PM

Silver City @ 1:45-2:00

Wade, Am I off anywhere? If so, how much?

You are right on as far as times except , the stretch from Lordsburg to Slver is a "SAFETY corridor " and only 55mph..........

However the idea of fast food is a good one Precision could stopat like Los Betos and grab a bunch of breakfast burritos they ROCK and are very filling and inexpensive too!!!!!
How about that Juan????(Clone 1)

Okay... so they get food and we roll into their dealership. It's like 1mile off I-10. If the food is waiting we can cut that stop to 30 minutes. That'll give us plenty of time for the safety corridor.

I was figuring us for average speed of 60 anyway. We'll make up a little time in the 65-75 areas too.

What does everyone else think?

Hi everyone,

I just got back into town so this is the first time I've been on since Friday. If everyone agrees with Mark, I think I can arrange it. If you prefer to meet at the TTT that works too. I know there will be about 30 people. How many cars will be involved? I need to arrange parking for everyone.

I agree with what Mark is talking about, if we could roll into the dealership with the food already there though that would sure speed things up and not give a massive line at some poor persons drive thru window.

Food ready at Precision is the way to do this. That way we can snap some shots of the cars with the store in the background.

Looks like 22-23 Scions rolling to Tucson.

It's all set. We (Precision Scion) will have breakfast burritos from Nicos along with juices. We will also have parking next to the Scion building. We plan to see everyone at around 9:30 AM.

awesome, thank you Precision Scion. I'm thinking about getting a dozen KK donuts for emergency energy on the way up and back, that way I can leave my crack at home.....doing lines on the highway is tricky.

Try rolling a fatty at 80 mph, that can be real fun, but sometimes you just gotta have a smoke.

You're gonna be REALLY biting your nails when you see me holding an 8 ft bong out my window and lighting it so that brent can take a hit off the other end sticking out while driving his car next to me at 80 MPH......now if i actually did drugs that would be a task to try.
