Silver City: Stories From the Road
Our adventure begins early on a chilly Saturday morning. We enjoyed some fresh donuts and hand made hot chocolate courtesy of Bryan at Krispy Kreme.
We departed on time, surprisingly. At this moment we are on I-10 heading towards Tucson. I am having mixed feelings on the whole walkie talkie business as some people, instead of coming in clear across the airwaves like the rest, seem to think their handsets are ham sandwiches and jam them into their mouths creating the dreaded and highly irritating "mumble mumble mmmpphhhh brrffff mmmpphh mumble!" effect.
Will update soon. Over and out.

I will let you all know how breakfast is.
How's that for exciting, Chad?

In this episode we have just left Precision Scion, gassed up and are now heading to our next destination.
I'd like to take this moment to thank Precision Scion of Tucson for the excellent breakfast and beverages as well as the fine eye candy they provided. The breakfast brought in for us was quite impressive. The size of the burritos were comprable to my forearm, which, if you are not aware, is small for an arm but quite large for a burrito. No confirmation yet on the size of the eye candy.
In other news, unfortunately, some still have not mastered the art of the radios.

We just made our last stop before we hit Silver City. We gassed up at a quait little truck stop which proved to be quite the treasure trove of goodies. There were George Bush bobble heads, peace pipes and dream catchers galore. I walked out with a NM shotglass and a My Little Pony fuzzy poster. Scott invited me to shower with him in the provided facilities but I kindly declined.
RECAP:
I dunno if I would shower in one of those road side stops ether.. with or without company..
