LOL, I love how they always have rich friends, (given i have friends with estate's bigger than the entire space the event was held on!) yes buddy me too! I mean we all know some body with a Huge mansion and lots of money right? lol I'm sure he's the rich little white boy who got his ___ kicked in high school by us.

I love reading stuff like that. There is ALWAYS a faster better car. There are people with cars that run 9's that are like "why is that guy that runs 12's running his car, he is just embarrassing himself". Apparently enjoying yourself and running your car even if it runs 17's is a bad thing. Honestly though, there are people like that in every community who talk trash, here a lot of people say crap about hondas. I guess they are just upset that our car manufacturer actually supports the owners and it's product.

 

They ALL talk like that when the APOCALYPSE comes for there A$$! They can't beat us so they yip yap......

I personally, cannot stand scion xb..xd's or whatever those box cars simply because i dont like them nuff said...I just find it really stupid for the ones that slap on fart can exhaust on those damm things...but hey my opinion right?...i mean scion does have a moto saying hate it..love it..or something of that matter


Maybe that one guy that use to have the midnight blue scion with m3 front that bought a s2k recently will back me up about z/g owners like me(sorry i forgot ur name bro ahha)...i would always wave to the kid since we both go to asu!...

lil will i personally would say go for the G...I totalled my car back in april and miss it dearly but am buying a white g35 here soon....im just letting u know in advance that it is near impossible to find the right G with a 6mt haha....

Lets be real...everyone talks ____ about cars...but u meet them in person and everyone is cool( so long as there are no seriously outrageous ricers haha)


and to the person that said something about being rich and have lots of money owning a Z/G...u have no idea because these cars go for so damm cheap now someone that works at mcdonalds can own these cars now

Don't get me wrong, I am not hating on anybody. Everybody has the right to their opinion I just thought it was funny to come across the Scion talk. Especially since I was one of the Scions at that show that they are referring to.

 

I get where you are coming from, but I see "fart can" exhausts on pretty much any kind of car, including z's and g's. Most of those that you refer to are 300+ exhaust systems that are either axelback or catback systems, so it's not just some cheap welded on muffler. What should be done to cars is all subjective like I said before, there is always someone with a faster car that will think yours is slower and they don't see any point in modding it, whether it be exhaust or anything else. Faster is faster, whether it be a few horsepower or twenty horsepower, and when you are putting low numbers to the ground(again subjective) any extra hp/tq is nice.

 

Good stuff. For people complaining about the xB, you're probably only seeing the ones trying to make it into what it is not, a fast car. I could never understand the carbon hood, fenders, roll cages, etc. If ya wanna race the 1NZ, the xA makes it a whole lot more fun.

I've gotten nothing but love for my toaster, but it's probably because of the reason I bought it in the first place. I needed a wheelchair ramp for my wife, no one yet has said I should have bought something else. It's hard to get 56" of headroom in a Z, G, tC, or anything else smaller than an Element. The bamboo flooring, ramp and fitted speaker boxes probably don't hurt either. For the record, I run a Flowmaster hushpower cat-back with an Apexi silencer. I needed a low-profile system since the floor was dropped for the ramp.

For the shows, I do understand their complaints a bit. I know everyone has their own style, but it does get a bit tiring seeing 30+ tC's in a row, mostly stock with exception of rims, an axle-back and a painted engine cover. I go because I like seeing the new, unique, interesting and those truly insane people who drop 3x the cost of the car in mods and custom work, because I won't see it anywhere else.

 

I think the hating from that area comes from them being jealous that we got in for free. I used to be friends with a lot of the Z/G owners and hang with them a bit, they complained a lot about what Scion does for us but on the flip side some of those same people would also say how cool it was and how they like the tC.

As mentioned before, there's always going to be someone faster or with a more modified car than you, and there will always be people looking down their nose at others. I'm sure the Ferrari and Lamborghini clubs laugh and make fun of the Z club for thinking they have a fast sports car....$h!t just trickles down stream basically.

Frankly I don't care if they're upset that we all got in free at HIN last year and that 20 of us are getting in free this year. Scion is doing something that no other car manufacture has tried to do before and it seems to be working well.....if Nissan did the same thing (which they won't) then they wouldnt be complaining when Nissan fits the bill for them to get into events.

In the end Nissan and Infiniti owners can go all they want, but in the end they should have bought a SCION

 

yeah boi. we choose what we want. i could have got an evo or sti spent a little and raped all of you. i know a twin turno 350 with 6psi so its all in the person and what they want. i went with a scion cuz i love it and at the end of the week i can afford to go see a movie because im 20 and my bills wont take up my life since im not rich like some

Blue tc, m3 front ped. spoiler, purpleish mirror covers. Seen him a couple of times, never talked to him though.

To me, and don't take offense to this, alot of Z/G35 owners are stuck up and pick on tc's because they know for a fact they can win. I've driven all over in STi's and Evo's and never once when we saw a Z did they rev on those cars. Too hard of a target.

I just can't wait until I line up with a Z at the track after getting turbo'd :D

That is if I don't find a used STi first.

The Z is cookie cutter now, the G35 stick is a sick car however.

Also xB's are hard to understand but I love them. They stand out from the ordinary car (not so much the xb2) and when boosted and on coilovers they are really fun. Not a 12 second car, but plenty of fun.

 

That's my thought, turbo'd xB's don't go fast, they go fun, which is even better IMO. It's along the same lines as the Mini, something that small should not be that fast or fun to drive, now if only I could get comfortable seats.

 

To each their own. It is a very nice gesture that Scion does by payng the entry for the big shows like HIN for Scion Owners. Just goes back to Owner community and showing Scion cares not just about selling cars, but also the owners themselves.

 

They're just mad because Scion rewards us for modding. Nissan spits on their customers for modding.

 

And if you are an Evo owner they just cancel your warranty for running the 1/4 or tracking it
