So I get this call last night....
Buddy of mine is firefighter out here in Johnson Ranch.
He goes hey you doing anything or can you come out and identify this snake for us.
I am like come on guys.. you do reptile pick-ups all the time. He is like ya..
but, we have not seen one like this before. So I head out there, and one of the cops has this maybe a year old Columbian Red Tail Boa wrapped up on his arm.
It was funny watching the other patrolmen that were coming by going.. Oh snake but, keep it away from me.
Its Someones pet, So its at home chillin out in quarantine away from the other reptiles.
Till I can find its owner or end up keeping it. I know its been out loose for a while,
it sat down there and drank up about a full cup of water. So I will let it destress a bit,
and see if it's hungry tommorw

LOL! Not only does RJ work on cars, but does public services too! LOL! WOW..............I would say nice snake, but Joey might get mad!!! How do I know what the snake looks like!!! OHHHHHHH DIRTY DIRTY!!!!

Snakes are my ahhhhh scary.. <y lil brother use to chase me around the backyard with dead rattlers we had to kill.
Two days ago Brae's cousin 7 yrs old got bit by a Timber Rattler in Mississippi and is in intensive care. Nobody knew to tie off the upper area of the bite to stop the poison from traveling to heart.. we are praying he will be ok.

Well it was a rescue last night.. All I had was a 10 gallon feeder tank to put it in.
All the other snakes and lizard are in alot bigger tanks.

Another thing remember when thinking about any reptile .. what size you think you can handle when they grow up. That Red Tail fully grown will be about 9ft give or take some.
I had a green Iguana.. JR was 9 years old when he passed away and little over 6 ft long. His tank was HUGE.. It was basically a whole wall. So think what they will take space.
