Yeah i totally understand the situation where u throw the girl aside for the car... but that was NOT the case here... she just didnt want to go to ANYTHING and then complained about not going to ANYTHING... i had to DRAG her to HIN.....

For me its the girl first!!!!! the car can sit in the garage and be ok but a girlfriend is a human and has feelings and the like. so of course you respect her more than your lil scion toy.

However, if shes not gonna be supportive at all with the car stuff then its time to move on. It IS a part of my life and i DO enjoy it....

idk needless to say im glad i broke up with her because my nerves were on FIRE

 

but I think davedave has been with his girl awhile. I know most of us old farts have. It's not even an issue now, it doesn't need to be said. For those young guys just getting together with someone, that's when they can choose what kind of girl they want to be with.

 

I'm just sick and tired of reading the same idiotic comments coming from 90% of the guys implying that if they have money then they can have both a girl and a car

I've seen plenty of idiotic ppl but this just beats them all.

If the girl respects my hobby i tend to give more of my time and money to her than the car, but if she doesnt respect it then i do the work on my car and spend my money how i want. I'm a sucker for da ladies and usually forget about the car tho :p
