I really starting not to enjoy SL anymore, No matter what you do, like try to have fun with with just a couple of the ppl you want to actually talk to in your region, its gets locked or moved or something. Everything seems to have a rule. So this is the last new topic I post, cause the control freaks will just shut me down. Lets see how long it takes this to get locked up.

 

Your subject has nothing to do with being ___. Had you stated that this site is like the time you went on a canoe ride with a couple of your male friends and all had to share a sleeping bag and one of them had a pretty mouth had to squeal like a pig. Well then I can see your correlation.

Let me tell you. Scott is just doing his Super Mod job. Scott had been really cool. I am sure he has had people PMing him about a bunch of crap.

Some of this stuff you are lucky wasn't shut down by another mod. Try not to give the mods too much of a hard time. The have stuff they are suppose to do.

Come too Cripsy, we will have a group hug in there. We all know it sucks sometimes especially with mods and their favortism, but whatcha gonna do? Quit, nah you wont do that. U like us too much. Next time just put a "Kick me" sticker on a mods back, itlll make you feel better.

Crispy your thread was locked for a couple reasons. ONE is that the thread was off topic way too much, TWO there should already be a joke thread in the off topic area which had problems constantly with content and having to be shut down and started over, and THIRD NONE of the jokes had anything to do with our region so why do we need a joke thread for our region? I could have understood more if they were jokes like "AZ laws....if a person has no AC in their car they have the right of way". I believe it's already too late to start a thread for AZ jokes now after I had to mention it so please don't start that.

I believe I have been very kind and flexible with people in this region. NUMEROUS times when somoene used to post in our classifieds sticky without a link i would take the time to PM them and ask that it be fixed instead of just deleting it. Another example would be when Chad created the quotes thread, i PM'd him and asked him to make it region specific so now it is the D&S quotes thread which makes more sense. We don't need a thread in our region with quotes from whatever out there, that would belong in off topic. So instead of being a controlling mean mod like you say i kindly contacted chad and he changed it so now everybody is happy. I will be checking into that thread soon to make sure its still on topic but otherwise its all good.

I have had to move MANY thread lately but I don't see that as my fauly, if you post in the wrong area expect it to be moved. There are different sections of this site for a reason. In the time that I have been a mod for this region I have been a "gray area" mod letting somethings go, going out of my way to let people know about changing a thread before i move it, letting certain threads stay because i know people of this region would appreciate them, and so on. From the complaints of people in this region I am now becoming a "black & white" mod, if i see something that isn't right it will just be taken care of.

If you don't want to continue posting on this site Crispy that is your choice, but don't blame it on me. I have nothing personal with anyone on this site or within the Scion group.

 

A few have vanished. The one about Mod wheels that Chad started. I thought it was a pubic forum and that was what it was for. To help and warn people of certain things. But, I guess not. Scotty is doing a great job, I think we all agree. Some just like to stay in their area and not go to far from home.

 

maybe you should start real topics instead of telling dumb jokes. This is scionlife not jokelife. if you have a really funny joke tell your buddies over aim or via the phone.

The thread regarding Mod wheels wasnt started by Chad it was started by somone working at Mod wheels, that is if we're talking about the same thread. The thread i am referring to is where they invited us to a grand opening with food, prizes and fun. I made it an announcement since it was an event and not just a straight up selling thread but after Chad questioned my decision publically on the thread and sent me a PM regarding it i decided i didn't want to deal with it and just deleted the thread. I felt that thread did more damage to Mod wheels than by deleting it so if Chad really didnt want people to have the same thing happen to them it should have been left alone.

 

There is a joke thread in off topic. Go tell them that.

I very rarely go outside of D&S. I would rather message or whatever you call us doing on the forums, with people I know.
