Thought that I'd suprise the girl for her b-day and get her some Altezza tails for her 06 toaster 'cos she HATES the stock tails.

Sept 15, roll to Street Beat, talk to Nick Walls. Plop down deposit, eta for tails 7 days. Fantastic! Will be here in time.
Sept 21, call down, where are tails? Nick says eta by the 26th
Sept 26, call down, where are the tails? Nick says receiving dude will call me back
Sept 27, call down, where are the tails? ETA according to receiving dude Sept 29.
Sept 29, forget the calls I roll down to Street Beat. Talked to Kris Jackson. More manufacturer problems, backorder or some baloney like that. Funny no one told me. Says he will call back on Monday and have an answer.
October 1 no call. Big suprise. I call down, talk to Kris. Wants to know if I still want them. Absolutely but not from SB. Refund my loot. Says no problem, $$ will be back on my card in 24 hours.
October 2,3,4 no $$ back on my credit card statement.
October 5, call down talk to Kris again. Says $$ for deposit will be back on my card by October 8.
Check my credit card statement last night and tonight no $$.
I'm hot, so I'll be calling down tomorrow and it's gonna get ugly. If I don't get an IMMEDIATE refund, I'm gonna be calling Visa.

BE WARNED SL members, Street Beat SUCKS. Customer service is crappy and they don't care about their customers.

If I ever had to buy something from them, I'd rather tuck my ***** between my legs and get it from Pep Boys or Autozone.

Oh yeah, I got her some TYC tails off Ebay, for $110, $30 less than their price and they showed up tonight. Hmmm, won the auction on Thursday, and showed up less than a week later.

Worst part? This choad Nick Walls says he's a SL member and takes care of us.

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah I bought some stuff for my neon off them in 03' took me 4 months to get all my **** i sent them several emails and only got back 1 saying they where on back order

Wow! If I got treated like that, I would have said the same thing. SB honesty is the best policy. Be honest with your customer's and they will be loyal. Also keep good communications with them and the same will happen.

Sorry to hear your problems. Ive been doing biz with SB since 1990 and never had one problem. Russ ,Kris and Nick have always gone above and beyond satisfaction for me. Im sure this is just some communication errors that got out of hand.

Strike one....Give m a few more pitches before you strike m out.

Wow.. almost sounds as bad as Vivid Racing.
I have bought from StreetBeat before and have had several friends work there. They are hit and miss sometimes. Some days they do a great bang up job.. Some days you just wonder what they are thinking.

That sucks to here that its taking this long to get the taillights or even your money back. I have done my fair share of business with them, my ragtopand underbody lights came from them. Like RJ said, it is hit and miss sometimes over there but I will still buy from them. I too have tried to contact them in the past about product and wouldnt get a response for quite awhile. Its always better to just go there and do business in person with them. I hope you can get your situation handled today ..

That is where it pays off to have a friend that works there. I only do business with one person there. I do business with them all the time and have never had a issue at all. Sorry to hear about your luck. Hope you get the stuff figured out.

So i defended Street Beat in the previous posting.
My tune changed >>BIG TIME after my visit last Sat. before the Scion Apocalypse Video shoot.

I showed up there at about 1:00 to find the doors locked and the employees partying it up inside. I stood there thinking they would come open the door since they close @ 3:00. Nope ,they pretty much gave me the finger and waved me away. Ive referred a ton of business to them and this is what I get? Never again

Russ wasnt there and would never have done that to me.

Wow, that is crazy. Was there strippers/alcohol/etc in there, or was it just the employees kind of hanging out?

I have my .02 to add. I am sorry for the above person that had to wait so long for there items. some times this does happen! We are at the mercy of the makers. Since we do not make them here. And most people want the best cost which in turn means ordering from not so truthful or quick maker. And as for the person who states they waited here @ 1pm on Sat. when we are open 10-3pm. Flat out BULLish!!!!! You are a liar. I am calling you out because I worked the day in mention. I did see your XB pull up @ about 3:15 after hours!!! For the record, If I had ever left before 3pm my boss would have my job for that! and I have been here 5 years. so I am pretty sure that has never happend. Anyone that knows StreetBeat knows damn well we bareley even get Holidays off, none the less leave early on a standard work day. So don't be mad @ us because you can not tell time and post lies on here. Before you spread rumors that are untrue maybe you should check and see if the people you spread them about are members on this site, was part of the Scion community or has friends that will let them know when trash like this goes up. And for all of you out there that support Street Beat we thank you very much. We would not have been in bussiness well over 14yrs without YOU!!! Or from acting this way ! Remember before you jump to conclusions there always is the other side to a story! Thanks for reading the truth!

That is not fully true Justin.. I have friends there also and brought this up to them when I seen your post. He said that they did not close the doors early at all. And it is not the guy that is on here posting from there either.

Not sure what that means... No dice? kinda sounds like a cop out to me! I got word of this from a friend of mine and my boss asked me about this due to rumors being spread looks like by you via email and around town that we closed early that day. Im happy you are because as you can see from my previous defensive posting I do feel strongly that Nick, Russ,Kris and the rest of the crew have always treated me with great respect and have awesome customer service.

Im an honest person and I will admit when Im wrong. My heart sunk in self disgust as i just checked my clock in my car and its off by two hours due to pulling my battery cable the evening prior to coming out there and my blackberry screen is on the fritz.

I dont blame anyone but myself but it would have been nice if someone would have came to the door to tell me your closed as you probably saw a puzzled look on my face at your entrance instead of ignoring me.

You have the right to be mad at me for what has happend. Its not like me to speak badly about a person or business. I indeed feel horrible for making this false claim and want to apologize and own up for my actions. I hope SB can accept my apology and I will do it in person in the near future if thats ok.

Ive known Russ since the start of the biz and he has always taken such good care of me which adds salt to the wound. Obviously if I did intend to make destructive lie about SB I wouldnt have sent the link of this thread to the store. I honestly thought you guys closed early and ignored walk up customers.

Boy do I feel like a right about now. seriously

I have a problem. The front LED underbodies my wife has on her xA, the right side went out. Can you help?

I accept your apology, since you got on here to try and make things right. You even sent me any apology via private msg. (again this is my wifes screen name BTW so now it's on for sending her a private msg. LOL j/k) We all make mistakes. We did not ignore you though!!! We had been pulling product ourselves in the wharehouse. Since Russ is no long with Street Beat. We (2) people, doing the job of 5 that day since one left sick. So rule is, one person stays with the customer on the counter. That was there just before 3 that had traveled from Gallup, New Mexico and is a wholesaler of ours. And the other which was Tommy was pulling his parts. For shop safety resaons we do not open that gate when just one person is on the counter (cause our shop is in the HOOd lol). Even saying that had you even gotten out of your Xb and came to the gate I would have told you that or maybe even sold what you needed to you through the gate... I do benifit a little the more sales I make. The main reason I got so upset, Is that we actually stayed till 3:45 for this customer I mentioned trying to go above and beyond for him and then we hear this... and had to have our boss look up the time clocks and @ the tapes...

Water under the bridge though!!! I do not hold grudges, nor will Street Beat Customs. As a matter of fact, even if YOU (JUSTIN) need something still do not hesitate to call ME @ 602-385-8318 ... This is my direct wholesalers line (no holding on cue to talk to a random person) This invitation also extends to any Scion member/ owner on here becuase I do still love my old Xa. As you can tell by my pics of it. Alot of love went into that car in a short period of time. Within 6 months it was shaved 2 toned dropped on 20's jdm badged, hid's, sound system w/ navi and too much more to list.
Still love the Scions and am dying to see a new shaved box bagged on some 22's... you have to shave the left reverse light though looks odd lol

As for the guy that called me personally a "Choad" @ the top, just saw this... LOL I am not even sure what the hell that is. Maybe I am getting old. You had a right to be upset that your part took a while to come in. I am sorry if our customer service guy did not call you back! But please beleave that we did not lie to you! We tell you what they tell us. Sometimes makers SUCK!!! Well, alot of the time. But we try to make the best of it! And for the credit back my account takes 3 working days to even post if credited that same day through Wells Fargo, I am sure yours is the same. Bankers do not work on weekends (lucky them i work 6 days a week!). I just hope that you can be a little more patient with us when ordering parts that we do not make! we do not control shipping nor the little kids in sweat shops making these parts for like .10 a day. So if they lagged again we do apologize to you. hope to see you all again soon!!!
