Ok, so I removed the stock steering wheel and I am getting ready to put in my NRG wheel. I am stuck. What else do I need to remove? The entire circular piece (with the yellow sticker) or just the plug for the airbag? Please help!

 

Will you need lots of help my friend, LOL all these new posts. Take that circular thing off. It is for the turn signal cancellation. Cant use it with the Short hub adapter. If you need anything else let me know. Im working late

looks really really good.... how much was everything? wheel, wheel hub, adapter? whatever you needed. Also how hard was it?.... Correct me if im wrong, i beleive our steering wheels with the airbag are going for like 300 on ebay?

 

I got the short hub adapter, quick release and wheel for $380 shipped. I ordered everything from Nurspec. The install wasn't very difficult at all. Only took about 30 mins. I am not sure about Ebay. I plan on keeping my stock wheel so I can go back to stock if I need to.

 

Wish you would of told me Lil Will. I'm a dealer and can get it to you for a lot better price than that. Just got Big J the same setup virtually for $275.00 Oh well still looks good on there

 

Can you get a Quick Release for a MOMO wheel too?

5 bolt or 6 bolt wheel?

 

Ask Chuck, he had to buy a hub adapter I think to make the Momo wheel fit, not positive...just know he had to do something to make th Momo wheel fit.

 

the NRG hub and quick release will work with a momo 6 hole steering wheel, and you can make the turn signal cancel work with a little modding.

 

To my knowledge all that matters is if its a 5 or 6 bolt pattern for the quick release. Other than that they are the same alignment points. I sold Dan a q/r for his Momo wheel with no issue

 

I just know Chuck said he had to buy something for the hub he got through you to make his work, not sure what, but I thought it had to do with the wheel...since I don't know what I am talking about I will be quiet now. I know you love that Chad!

 

Its a 6 bolt.

you will lose the horn... i hard wired mine and put a button on the dash... the horn is the WHITE wire on tC's and i believe brown on xA's i dunno about xB's...

 

Go to robearracing.com and look for their hub kit for the scion. It isn't like the MOMO hub as you will not lose your horn; did the same thing in my xB and I kept the horn as well as kept the airbag light off.
