today is a sad day...
ok the situation is this I'm having to move out of my in-laws house (long story due to situation somewhat beyond my control) so my father in law is taking my car from me... how can he do this? you ask. well basically he is my cosigner on my loan and the agreement was if i ever moved out... due to divorce or seperating from ym wife he gets the car. well i'm moving out but not getting divorced or anything like that but he still saying I cant have my car.... this is really sad day cause I love my tC and i will now be carless and school starts soon. oh well i'll just find a toyota or something of the like to drive til i get my credit in good enough standing to get another tC.
Im with what keoki is saying. depending on how long you had the car, and how many payment you have made on it, you might be able to get a loan through a credit union and refinance it completely under your name. that way you get to keep the car.

well i have a positive update... kinda
I might be able to keep my car i've been talking to my father in law to try and work something out. Also I might be taking out a student loan to pay for my school expenses for the next 3 years and to pay off all my current debts and to pay off a large portion on my tC, this will help me rebuild my credit so I canrefinance my tc under my name and give me enough extra money to pay off the student loan early.... now i just hope my father in law says ok to all of this
