I've been wondering the same thing.. Anyone else on here, in T-town, that has an RS3? From what I've gathered there are 8 of them in town and I've seen 5 diff ones other than mine.

 

I'm in Phx, But i've been known to roll threw Tucson every now and again. I used to live down there.

Hey Frogger, I live in the foothills area and drive the 3.0 with 17" O.Z. wheels, seen me around? Do you have any unique markings on yours to tell it apart from the others? I sold one to a lady who decked it out with Silvester the Cat stuff.

I myself have only seen a couple, one on 1st north of wetmore (with a plate that said 2GREEN) and another pulling out of the tucson mall.

I haven't seen yours. Mine has stock wheels w/ TYC taillights and real (illegal) dark tint. I was planning to put some 20s on mine when I picked it up, but it rides much nicer than my white company XB with TRD 18s on it. So for now I'll stick with the stockers..

 

Smart thinking on the tint. I went darkest legal for the security but it still bugs me when I go to back up at night and I can't see a thing!

I'll keep an eye out for those TYC's next time I see one. Oh and FYI, if you go with 17s, you won't notice a difference in ride, won't have to lower it, and it won't even effect your mileage.

 

I guess I've gotten use to having dark tint. I've had it on most of the cars I've owned. It does get dark at times, though.

As for 17s, I have thought about that, but most that I've seen look odd to me because they seem to small. Maybe I'm just picky!

 

Its good to be picky with wheels though! You wan't it to relate to who you are. I am extremely picky when it comes to wheels and it takes a lot to please me. For instance, anything over 18s on an xB looks odd to me.

 

18s look good on our cars, there's no doubt about that. I guess I'm partial to the hotwheels look with super big wheels, though..

There is an event on the 22nd which is tomorrow from what I understand. It is at Southwestern International Raceway. Its a compact and muscle test and tune from 10pm. I'll be goin just to spectate being my car is under construction

So is anybody going to the test and tune on Sat? I hardly see any TC's in town and would like to see some of your cars. Mine isnt anything special yet but its coming along and i would like to get some new ideas.

 

i have to be at a wedding or else i would go... we really need to get something up ang going for Tucson!! I don't mind going to Pheonix but the drive home afterwords SUCKS!!!
