Default Tucson Run??

Who is up for a late-afternoon run to Tucson to meet/eat with some of the Old Pueblo peeps?

Oh yea I'm up for that. My most favorite resturant is in Tucson, El Charro on Church Street downtown. I say we make the run stop there for an early dinner and then head off to the meet! Maybe even do a group shot at the Mission just south of Tucson (sorry forget the name of it).

San Xavier Del Bac is the mission

I go to Tucson twice a week but I can always go down a third time. Maybe we could do a drive up Mt Lemon.

Wow, I lived in Tucson for 25 years and avoided coming to phoenix as much as I could. Where Phoenix has bulldozed the old neighborhoods Tucson still has the old Barrios. I worked for the phone company and you could go do a repair for a 70 year old women and find she was born in the house she was still living in. Much deeper culture than in Phoenix.

It's about a one hour drive to the top of Mt Lemon which is like 9600' compared to Tucson at 2600', they even have a ski area up there.

It seems Tucson is a really big town where Phoenix is a city. Not nearly as much to do, but no where near the number of murders etc as we have up here

Tucson is the bomb! I would live in Tucson. We could also take all the SCIONS out to the airpark storage yard and takes group shots there. I wonder how many SCIONS you can park under a 747?

Hell YA! I live in Tucson. It is awesome out here.

There is an awesome resturant out here called Taco Bron. It has all kinds of room and it is one of the best new resturants here in town (and affordable too).

Lets do it!

This sounds like it could be a fun trip. That would be awesome to take all of the Scions out to where they store the moth ball airplaines.... When would this event be??
