I just saw the August 19th date on Scionetics.com, is that just to have a date in there or is that looking like the weekend it'll be?

 

Mark -- I saw the other post in socal -- are the vegas people gonna have anything

Got another idea for an "event" we could try to do in Vegas, maybe Scion could get the race track for use(Scions only) or if there is a drag strip they could have Scion only drags, more people might be willing to try it out without all the faster cars, especially for the xB's

 

Nope.

The prizes are for the people rolling from the other cities, to build interest. If someone in Vegas wants to win they can add their name to the roll-call in LA, San Diego or Phoenix. They must roll with the group and then be present in Vegas to win.

Scion will handle the Vegas stuff. Or we'll add more prizes later. Depends on the feedback from the vendors. We've got MTX, Rockford and Memphis involved. We're also getting three sets of rims with tires, lugs and locks from Rim 1 and American Racing.

If anyone has more ideas please let me hear from you.

 

Hey Mark is this being pushed back to August? I read the Scionetics date is and it says its being pushed back so Scion Corp can be part of it. If this is true then this is good news for me! This gives me and also everyone a chance to save $ to go. I guess the only downside is that we have to wait forever but it gets me excited even more! At least count on Scionetics I have a total of 60 Scions signed up from AZ, NM, CA, NV. Im sure thats not including my club, more AZ peeps & more CA & NV peeps. Im def. excited to see that many Scions cruzin the AZ desert....

Yes. Scion wanted to promote the actual event in Vegas so they needed more time. We don't have the date yet but we're pretty certain it will be August.

if you can confirm a date in August then I will be there. We need a confirmed date asap so I can get planning... "have allot of stuff at work going on and need about 3 months ahead to put in for pto" Let us know asap!

Just check Scionetics.com and PHX hit 50 people signed up, LA is at 14 and San Diego is at 3...PHX is kicking butt for now, but you know more people from Cali are gonna show.

I'm in... just need a confirmed date so i can take those days off... how long is everyone hanging out in vegas??? i was thinking that if we head up on sat nite I will prob hang out around the "strip" till about wednesday....

 

The event is suppose to be in Saturday so we will prolly be leaving on Friday or Friday night

 

good stuff, so leave Friday the 18th, be there until whenever we feel like leaving, or is it planned to be over a certain amount of days..?? I guess I will put in for time off now crossing my fingers it keeps the 18th date....

 

Dont quote the date. I know they are working on it and I hope they settle soon for everyones sake.

Plan on Friday and Saturday stay in Vegas with roll home Sunday I am sure

 

thats even better just another day in VEGAS!!!!!!! i just went thru this whole post and the video was soo COOL... that would be great if we could do the whole police escourt thing too....
