As we all know, the car industry isn't intirely honest with us. Although the sticker on my 2005 xB says 31city/34highway, the last tank averaged 27.5 MPG(mostly highway). Now, don't get me wrong! I am MORE THAN PLEASED with that. It's just a little bit of a bummer when your expecting 30 or above, ya know what I mean? So...what are you averaging? Tell me all about it! You "lead-footin" it? You drivin mostly city? Automatic? I WANT IT ALL! LOL! Thanks for all your info! DRIVE ON! :D

 

28.5 if I'm hard on it in the city (most the time cause NO ONE knows how to drive)and hwy i get 35 doing 80 the whole tank...... oh and its a standard

 

xB. total average over 17000 miles = 30.7mpg

 

Well it also depends what is done to your ride. If its bone stock.. 100%
then you would get better than modified too.. Soon as you change wheel size.. or add exhaust etc.. its going to change. I am averaging right now 28ish mpg.
But I am.. 18\'s Intake. Header. Exhaust. Pulley. That and I drive my ride hard.
Now if I grandpa\'d it a little bit more I know I could increase my mileage.

 

5-spd and heavy foot.
Stock I was getting about 31.5.
I haven't had my dash together for a whole tank yet without CEL, but I'm guessing about 28 (calc'd in my head remembering miles before trip reset) with short ram intake and 17" wheels. I did notice my foot got a little heavier after the intake.

That's 75-80 freeway in the morning with all windows open, usually rush hour coming home,

2006 tC with Lead Foot attachment - 13,000 mi - 22.67 MPG. Mostly city driving.

 

I have 24,000 miles on my box and my over all average is 33.5 miles per gallon. My best has been 37 mpg and worse has been 31

 

Well ever since i switched to bubble power im getting like 50 mpb ...

 

And not to pick on your Mr Chris.. your on stockie wheels.. and no engine mods and drive like a grandpa.. :LOL: I am only picking cause I would love to get that extra mpg that you get. So more power to you.

The one I watch out for is Nascar Sharpie.. I just could see her doing some rubbing and donutting the side of someones car..

 

Sure you not picking on me..... I know a big factor is that I'm on stockies and no engine mods but I hope to change that soon....lol I want 18's and I want engine mods.... only if the company I work for paid me a hell of alot more. Looks as if no Bonus's or raises this year.....Looks as if no mods anytime soon.

 

I've got 29k miles and half is highway driving (thousands of miles on I-5 in Cali between San Francisco and Bakersfield). I get around 28mpg on trips and as low as 18 on a heavy weekend. 25-26 is average. Oh yea, I have a K&N panel air filter with custom exhaust (very high flowing) also stock cat + res.

 

With a header, AEM CAI and the DC Sport exhaust on my RS2.0:

Drive like I want to: 27.5-28 City 32 Highway

Drive like I should: 30.5 City 35 Highway.

 

Heavy foot everywhere, and 17's with 60,000 miles. around 26-28 in city and 30 or so on the highway.

I'm at 29 with an auto drive city/freeway

 

Let's see...11,500 miles, auto, 18"s, header, intake. ALL CITY driving - between 23-26 mpg

 

9000'ish miles

Consistently averages between 30-32 mpg. That was stock and also with the mods below. On a Vegas trip we averaged like 31.8'ish.
