Man, it seems as if every other light someone revs there eninge at the tC and talks some kinda trash or other... but today took it TOOO F%^$ far... I had a guy get outta his car...because i wouldent race him... start talking ____..Naturally I was offended that this dude got outta his car and was leaning on mine AT A LIGHT so i told him to backj off my car. and then he leaned into my car and shoved my friend into his seat? WTF? common......then the next light some sentra comes up and revs like nuts and then takes off.. I pull away normally and then blue and red....... that guy ALMOST got me another ticket... A cop pulled him over and I pulled over as well not wanting to get in anymore trouble... luckally the cop came over to my car and THANKED me for not entertaining the "Idots, right foot addiction"... i stuck around to see how it would weigh out and the cop ended up towing his car...... I'm glad mabye he will learn somthing. GRRRRR!!!


I really love my tC and dont regret it exept for all the unwanted trouble it brings me.

Now im going to pose a question to our resident police officer. Is there anyway we can stop this stuff... at the light... because even if i dont race the guy next to me he is gonna take off and may end up killing someone anyways. Ideas?

i have carried a CCW for the last years, im very lucky i have never had to use it(pulled it, never discharged), but there are alot of idiots out there........but im ready

 

did you tell the cop about the guy who got out of his car I would've given him the plate numbers and descriptions and what not.

Oh and the best part is they don't even realize you got an Automatic hahaha

 

CCW? I remember one day in the rain this Red 2006 Honda Civic EX pulls up next to me @ a light and starts revving and honks its horn. BTW it had a fart can and wannabe HIDs. When the light turned green it sped off and I was saying to myself I hope you get into an accident only because he could injur or kill someone being stupid the way he was. I would never wish anything on someone like that. But he had an exception. Remember he wanted to race in the POURING RAIN!!

 

i hate city driving... almost every red light there is a car revving at me... the worst is when i dont run with them and we both end up stopped at the next red light and i have to listen to some douche bag and his douch bag friend who doesnt even have a car talk ____ for not running

Yeah I live in WA pierce county to be exact ever watch Cops we are on every episode I have a concealed carry permit if somebody endangers me or makes me feel threatened bang now I wouldnt shoot anyone for leaning on my car but I know if they did anything bad I can help me or someone else out ya know

 

I had a similar experience the other night. I just left the movie theaters after seeing X Men 3 and decided to stop to grab something to eat. I had 2 "kids" (probably 18 or 19) approach me and ask if I wanted to race them (Not a real good idea to street race...especially when there is a Sheriffs station less than half a mile away). I told them "No, I don't race on the streets, only on a track!". They then went out to my car and waited for me and started harrassing me. Calling me a names like pu**y, chicken, f*g, etc. The names weren't what bothered me. But the fact that the guy who wanted to race me was a tC owner as well. He then followed me halfway to my house and kept shining his high beams at me, tailgating me, and pulling in front of me...just to slam on his brakes so I would get aggravated and speed around him. It ____es me off to think that he is out there creating a bad rep for Scion owners.

 

good job for not street racing! to street racing and stooooooooopid idiots who do illegal s#!t like that!

i know what everyone means.
i have had this happen to me just about everyday......
thier are a lot of those ricers over by my g/f's house and whenever i drive my tc i just tune them out with my tunes(that really ____es them off). but when i drive her car the same thing happens and i just let them go on thier way.
the type of ricers im talking about are those multi colored panel, body kit dragn, ones.
lol!!!

 

I never have anyone want to race me really. Which is good though. It is not worth it at all. People are idiots anymore. I just drive to where I need to go and call it a day. Street racing isnt worth the trouble nor the accident that could happen.
Great job on not racing though.

 

I get these kids that roll up to the light and rev on me every now and again.
I just have to laugh at them. I had a guy in a stock 4 runner drop the clutch and chirp out at a light thinking I was going to race him. Just ingore them and laugh.
And reaching in the car.. a good dose of pepper spray sure makes thier day happy.
then a nice "ring ring" to the police about it.
You think the city driving is bad, take a roll into town out where me and Big Jay lives.
they are just idiots. Sad to say I do have the non emergency sherriffs number on speed dial.

 

Good job man. Seriously, there's a time and a place for racing. Good to see you're using your head and taking a look around to see that it wasn't a good time (specially if a cop was actually watching).
