winter olympics
The olympics have always been a big deal for me, summer more than winter. I guess that's because I grew up in Tucson and didn't know what snow was until college in Flagstaff.
Torino did a great job with the opening. I don't think you can ever top a Ferrari Formula One car doing donuts in the stadium.
Just curious, how does everyone else feel about the olympics?

I was not that impressed with the opening,except the Ferrari...
as for the Olympics It's something I look forward to every 2 years weather it's summer or winter games....my favorites are freestyle skiing and snowboarding,and womens and mens gymnastics.
I was lucky enough to be able to attend several events @ the Los Angeles Games and was very impressed with the way everone got along (no politics & other B.S.)
It's the only time every nation can get together without WARS and other differences getting in the way !!!!!!!!!!!(except for a few scandals here and there)
I am not a real big sports fan BUT watching our American athletes perform @ their best
in the Olympics has always been a tradition in my family.........And kicking some foriegn butt is cool too!!! GO AMERICA!!!

word...i love the skiing and snowboarding(especially halfpipe).
