help! dude I'm so clueless when it comes to this stuff. so I bought some cathodes. I was going to install them into my door side pockets. I was going to jus going to put them in the pocket, cut the wire and splice 20 guage into it so I could run the power over to the cig lighter power where randy ran my floor cathodes. but when I go to splice into the power I'm going to need a two pin connector to plug into the power invertor right? I can't find those anywhere !

anyone know where I can get them over on the west side or a better way to install them? I was running the power to randys so I could 'Y' off his inverter and control my door lights from his switch I have in the dash.

you don't want too many cathodes running of the cig make sure ur not goin to blow a fuse when you do this. and too find thos pieces you want just go to homedepot, or lowes

 

ok that's good info. I didn't know that. where else would you run into power? jus run it straight into the fuse box? these will be the last ones I run to the cig. lighter

 

also don't try to lengthen the wires from the ballast to the light tube, the tube won't light properly. you have to move the ballast closer. You just have to cut the end off the original(keeping enough slack to splice it) and then splice in a length of wire, with a splice on each end.
