WOW! Not My Day
So i was at work, and when i got off i came out to see some idiot hit my car. He ran into my front driver side bumper. Shattered my head light. Any1 around Tempe, AZ have an oem front bumper for sale, actually any kind of front bumper? Also a driver side headlight? i Have to redo everything this time im gonna think about getting fogs, vrd grills and an oem lip kit. If you dont have any of the above. Would you kindly direct me to a cheap but good body shop? THANKS SL

Insurance education 101. Comprehensive claims will not make your rates go up. You were not in control of the vehicle when the accident occurred. Collision claims make the rates go up 'cos you were in control of the vehicle.
Now go to any shop and get it fixed. 'Nuff said.

They could also have me bring it to one of their shops but hopefully i get a choice.
Have an insurance claim adjuster come out and inspect the damage. Make sure to point out any damage that he might happen to miss. Then, go to the body shop to have them go over the insurance estimate and they will make their own based on what they see and will get a hold of the insurance company to negotiate more money if needed.
It is usually cheaper for the body shop to order aftermarket pieces anyhow. So, more power to ya. They probably wouldn't argue with you being that they would be spending less on the claim.
I had a claim a few years ago when my Ford Focus was smashed up with bats and river rocks. The bodyshop ending up shaving everything and doing a custom paint job and it was less money with all the paint and labor than the factory paint job was.
