Does anyone know how to take off all the silver interior pieces in the xA. Gonna do some painting this weekend. Just wanna make sure we dont break anything.

Also, any tips on preeping before paint would be cool too.

I guess these xB boys don't want to help you. But, don't fret...I'll help you.
The silver pieces on the doors do not seperate from the doors. your going to have to tape and spray them.
The silver piece around the shifter just unsnaps...but you have to take the center console off for that.
The silver pieces around the ac vents dont come off..again tape and spray them.
The silver pieces along side the cubby will pry off.

 

I did the tech DIY, but it only for the xB. So shhhh!

its not really that difficult only tools you need is a flat head to pry the accent peices off and a phillips for the 2 screws behind the HVAC controls and 2 screws behing the long silver peices

little bit of sanding with 400grit fine sand paper
wash w/ mild detergents
let dry
base, paint, paint, paint, clear, clear
let dry
put back on
