yeah- a buddy of mine lives near the 17 and he's had to draw his gun twice because people broke in while he was in the house. absolutely nuts.

That sucks.. I am sorry to hear that, my little brother always told me never to bump the stereo loud close to home, no stickers advertising my stereo equipment and i personally think my idea of the special screws screwing mine in to my car and the whole tricky thing that makes it hard for me to take out is the secret to their non success.. I hope you fix your car back and don't get rid of it, if so, then the world wins.. Does your insurance cover your loss, i hope soo.. Things will get brighter..

They will cash me out on the equipment, but I'm not putting any more stereo equipment into. I cant afford deductables every 6 months.

I'm not selling the car either, just trying to convince family its the right idea not to sell is is a little difficult

i agree with scisko. i wish az would take it from texas and make it legal to defend your personal property with deadly force. but now its still an eye for an eye. but i still own many guns. I think it would deter thiefs ALLOT more if they knew they could legally get shot for stealing a stereo system.

im sorry to hear about that man. i lived right by hooters on bell and i had my car vandalized there also. nothing stolen but ive replaced windows.

Hey bro I feel your pain, I hear stories like this every day at my shop. I strongly recommend you add a glass break sensor on your alarm. I have the same alarm, A few weeks ago someone broke my passenger side window in front of my house. The shock sensor beeped but the alarm didnt fully go off. A glass break will assure the alarm going fully off.

Also Im adding a motion sensor. If any movement happens inside the vehicle the alarm goes off, even if i forget to roll the window down. And its fully adjustable.

I can do either for about $50 bucks each for SL members.

Now that I think about it, my alarm does go off if I hit the window hard enough. I tried it a couple times to test it. The alarm was $500 so it had better come with a flippin glass break sensor. My dad's came with one and it's only $100! I will still be by your shop to check out that motion sensor.

unfortunatly that alarm doesnt come with one, and if you paid 500 bucks you paid to much well that is normal retail on it thou. I just sell them cheaper then most guys. But yeah motion is the way to go. After my break in, i felt like there wasnt an alarm mod i didnt want.

IF i had my way i would have a pitbull sleep in that truck fulltime!

In about 75% of most break in they are someone in your area or someone who has seen your ride. If you want since I don’t like cases like this. If JBL or Infinity suite your needs I will see about getting you a discount to help ease the pain of the cost. Sorry dude.
