Yeah i had to wait like 2 1/2 months for my xb, when Scion just started I ordered my Scion even before they had the Scion portion of the building so i know that feeling on waiting and calling for it to come in.

ALSO ATTN EVERYONE:

We Need to do a a HUGE Meet so we can take pictures and FINALLY Meet EVERYONE. so lets plan for like towards the end of june or begining of july so that we can rally everyone up and meet up. Pictures will be used for the website, and also so that everyone eles can have personal copies. lets show alaska, How many Scion are really up here! ok i'm sounding to chessy but anyways what do you guys think?

 

: D thanks for the sympathy! My sister in law worked in accounting when they started selling Scions, and she said some people had to wait over 3 months, and lots of people had their deposits refunded. I am just glad that they gave me a VIN number and told me that it is on a barge right now.

I can't wait to meet up with all of you guys. That will be lots of fun to go somewhere and get tons of pics of everyone.

^hey, i might have seen you driving yesterday unless there's some other young guy with a SW tc. it was in the Dowling roundabout.

and i want to change my dash leds too. i dont like the amber. if i find someone that knows how to solder that kind of stuff, i will let you know! and my salesman called and said my tc should be here sometime this week.

 

my brother, who is a technician at toyota, just called and said he was handed the paperwork to do the PDI for my new car!!! so.. i am leaving work early to go see : )

i also stopped by toyota today and all i saw was an xa on the dirt area.. that white xb wasnt even on the show floor anymore heh

and about you seeing me i doubt that was me cuz i didnt drive my tc on sunday.if it helps i might be the only one with a s2000 antenna on mine its basically just shorter than the stock one heh

 

i stopped in while my brother was doing the PDI and got a couple crappy phone pics:


he said i couldnt pick it up yet because it didnt have a stereo in it and it was supposed to come with a sub, and that wasnt in it yet either. he said sometimes they have to send them down to safe & sound for that stuff. hope it doesnt take too long!

^so i need to look for a shorter antenna? no stickers or anything? i will try my best!

and it looks like toyota has really cleared out its inventory on Scions. Theres one dark red xA by the alley... and Munky's black xB. thats all.

 

ya well i do have that yellow sticker now..just got my plates and i guess the newer cars have to have a yellow sticker on the lower left hand side of the windshield now.kinda put it too high on accident so im probably gonna put a small decal to fill the gap hah

anyways cant wait to see it in person

i was telling my gf about that system in yoru car haha
and raa raa i stopped by toyota today and some dude was asking about the radio for your car =)
just thought id let you know that they were working on your lil issue

 

i went in to sign the papers and give them my money, and my salesman was able to talk his manager into letting me have the car and bringing it back later for the radio! i love it love it!!! i am having to get used to the lack of ground clearance, though :S
^JC i wonder if you saw my brother or my salesman talking about the radio. my brother is a couple years younger than me, and his stall in the second one in on the right. I am glad to hear that they are actually working on the radio, thanks for the info!

i guess they started doing it in 06 all new cars have to have a "new vehicle" sticker on the lower left hand side of the windshield to make it easier to distunguish new cars from the old (obviously) its more for IM reasons since newer cars dont need to go get their first IM for 4 years instead of 2

and btw you put that hood on of yours yet?
