Ok look ladies and genatles...

Since people never answer their freakin phones and i leave messages and no one responds back im gonna post this on here. So far i talked to sean and tony and both agreed to this.

Me and My bro went to a youth center today to talk to breakers and taggers. Why you askk ?? Well because our HIN theme event is going to be based on a urban theme, WHY NOT ??

BREAKERS ok, so anyways we talked to a breaker/tagger from a youth center on 66th and kedzie,who is more and willing to participate and help us brothas out. We basically asked for 4-6 breakers who would be willing to break in our little section while the d.j is spinnin on the 1's and 2's. There age has to be either 18+ because we dont wanna be following little kids everywhere and baby sitting. Only thing is i dont know if you guys want them to wear our shirts or something.

and for the ....

TAGGERS We gave him somewhat ideas of what we want. Of course a peice with the Scion Evolution on there. We discussed what kind of materials and so on. We were gonna do it on plywood but i dont think that would be a good idea not only to bring but to put somewhere. So i mentioned something like a big canvas sheet or like a thick layered denim kind of blanket. That way we can tie like two ropes around each end of two xb's or tc's and show case it like that. We would have to supply the materials for this though. Cans he said that would be good are Montanas (i think) but said would run us $3 a can.

So i want to bring him to a meet of ours. That way we can literally talk to him about what we want and what to do. He said meanwhile he is going to draw skethes and so on. Either i bring him to the model meet or the install meet ...or we can have a meet just for him.

What do you guys say ?????

 

oh and also , im no longer to post at work since the mean boss blocked my scionlife sitings. So i wont be responding as much as i used to (which is good in a way, cuz i was getting on peoples nerves ). I'm all for it and appreciate you going out to find the taggers. I have some ideas that i would like to speak to them about. The sooner they come ot a meet the better.

lol yeah that would be stright im down for all that! & i will not be at install day on the 18th i will be in mn that weekend so sorry u allim down to meet up this weekend or next for the tagger its all good maybe we grab some food and talk it out?

 

I have someone from my job that can help to, but does "Pieces"( Masterpieces) not tags. He writers with alot of the top crews in Chicago like DC5, ATT and MUL.Plus he does alot of graffiti battles. Ill get some pictures of his work and post them up.

 

Plus his guy is the regional distributor for Montanas paint. so he should be able to get the paint cheaper.

 

He said that he would down if we needed him.

the breakers that we talked to want to know what time the and IF there is a BBOY BATTLE?
so if there is.... someone find out the time so that they can leave and win for themselves and rep SCION EVO CHI!!

so do we have a schedule on what is going on yet? or do we get that on friday?

PLUS!! if we get 4-6 breakers how do we get them in? do they pay or can we hook it up.......?

it is great seeing this sort of planning for HIN -- SE:C will be representing hard!

one thing we need to keep in mind is the amount of space that will be allocated to us for HIN. based on initial estimates of those registered (~16 Scions), i am assuming we will not have that much space for bboys and 'muralists'.

i have, however, put a request in with the HIN contact to see if they can accomodate our entertainment plans. again, as soon as i know i will post.

hey whats up guys i already got one dj and i got some of my buddies that go to UIC and they break and tag! soo i will tell them just to swing by the show on saturday early and to meet me there iam not soo sure they wana go....hey mike or raul does my dj have to buy a ticket? to get in?
