CHICAGO: Scion xPress Fest - 3/23

Hey Scion People!

You are invited to Scion xPress Fest - Chicago!

Hundreds of filmmakers entered for a chance to make a music video for
talented independent bands. Our panel of industry heavyweight judges chose
ten finalists. Ten exceptional music videos were made. Now you will help
decide who walks away with the $20,000 grand prize. This is the Scion
xPress Fest.

Come join us at the Scion xPress Fest Screening Tour as we roll across the
country to find out who has what it takes to win the top prize.

Chicago - Thursday, March 23rd
Screening begins at 8:00pm
@ 3 Penny Cinema

hm... lincoln park on a monday night. shouldnt be THAT hard to find street parking. the area is packed with meters. OR, if for some reason you choose not to drive, get to the L redline, Fullerton stop. Its about a 5 minute walk from there.

definitely going. free? hosted bar? scion stuff? ohh yeah.

i tried posting on here earlier from work.. buti guess it never went through. but yeah, sucks i couldn't be there.. later on at night work got really busy. hope it was as fun as it seems it would have. now off to rest so i can wake up and wash.. stupid cold!

yeah... it was alright. the videos; honestly, were amateur. what could you have expected though?
i was content. Except with the Plane video. the band is, argueably, the best, out of the selection, yet, the video was perhaps slightly better than the worst.
dont take my word for it. these kids have talent. i know... i definitely wouldnt do well in a video directing contest.

free hats, shirt, magazine (ft atmosphere), (and by hosted bar they meant 2 free drinks!)

it was okay....
