Just got my red XD yesterday. Wanted blue, but they had red, so...

In front of the rear tires, there seems to be some kind of cave on the body. It's probably to keep in style of the XD, but I want it filled with something -not mice., I wouldn't give it a second thought, but I live in the Chicago area.

After the first winter storms, I expect this cave to be filled with about 10 pounds of hanging frozen slush.

Has anyone found a way to fix this? please explain.

Sorry, I am new to these forums. When the us map appeared I just clicked on Illinois and didn't bother to consider other options I guess. Will post on XD forums. Thanks
