this is my first snow with the box.... gotta say its not as bad as i thought it would be....

 

start it in 2nd gear, and engine brake along with regular brakes to stop... stops much faster then what the abs can do... i use that method only in the snow

 

Im from Terre haute, about an hour from west side indy. 07 Fm Scion Tc, just gettin into the whole modification aspect of things!

 

New to forum and to owning a tC. (2012 Cement)

welcome to the forum; sl is usually busy but some of the local regional areas are kind of quiet but should be getting a little more action soon due to the nicer weather and close to spring/summer time

i believe elmhurst scion is having toyota fest (toyotas, scions, lexus) aug 19th at their dealership in Elmhurst, IL. usually a good time and quite a few scions

 

im in the greenwood area been lookin for some scion meets also but no luck, had a guy from a scikotics car club leave a card on my tc one day when I came out the mall. i hit him up but no luck. still searchin tho

more action yesterday than the last few months lol

curious how many of you are going to do slamology this year in indy? (see how many scions we can get together at the show)

 

still up in the air on slamology, would like to go if everything falls through tho

 

i don't do car shows any more only one i do is scion exposed but i only stay for a couple minutes to take a few photos and leave.

 

^^^slams worth going though just for the atmostphere of crazy cars/trucks. this is one show i make sure to go to every year as its always a blast (especially nighttime at the hotels) if you end up going even to just take photos let me know (one of us should have an extra wrist band to get you in for free)
