Beck Scion is teaming up to help out Shepard Community Center/Church to raise toys for their Christmas Store and Food items for their Food Pantry. All money collected on the raffles will be donated as well. This is to try and help a community that is in need for the holiday season.

When:
SATURDAY -- DECEMBER 6th 2008-- FROM 2pm-6pm

This will be an inside event...All the cars will be allowed to park inside the Service Department. Judging starts at 4pm for the cars and there will be food and drinks provided.

There is an entry fee for the car show this year you will need to bring non-perishable food items and a new toy for a child ages 5-10. Doesn't matter if it is two items or a bag full we need you all to come out and support our local community center and their food pantry and christmas store for the needy.

There will be many raffles and door prizes.

Some of the items we will be raffling off are Navigation Systems, Remote Start Systems, Car Vacs, a Mr. Clean Complete Car Wash System and many more.

There will be more details available soon. We just wanted to get this posted ASAP.

So let's start a roll call and come out in force to help support a community in need.

Ok, i talked to Jimmy D yesterday and in an effort to try and bring out some XA/XD owners too, Jimmy has some carbon fiber items and lots of parts that he wants to either raffle off or give away as door prizes. I have not seen a roll call started yet and I am starting to get a little nervous...Come on guys this is for a good cause. I know times are tough but everyone has a canned good or two laying around in their cabinets that they can spare to get rid of. So lets get this thing started and roll call it baby !!!

Gonna be great to have you all here !!! This is gonna be a great event. I am super excited about it and I hope that we can raise lots of food and toys for the local Indianapolis East Side Community Center. I don't think I really need anything from you guys right now except you and your cars. If I do I will get ahold of you.

ok just a quick update, I received all the trophies for the show today, we are keeping it real simple this year since I want to focus more on the community outreach part of this than the car show part.

1st place XB, TC and XA/XD--Trophy
2nd place XB, TC and XA/XD--Trophy
3rd place XB, TC and XA/XD--Plaque

We are serving either Chili or Chili Cheese dogs or maybe even both. Drinks will be provided.

If you enter a car you will automatically receive 1-complimentary raffle ticket. You can also gain more tickets by bringing more donations. For example: For a grocery bag of food or household items you will receive 5/tickets for the raffle. If you bring a $10.00/unopened toy you will receive 10/tickets. If you bring both you will get 20 tickets. Now this is the raffles for the carbon fiber items (XA/XD), digital photo key chains, car wash system, remote start and navigation system. We also want people to attend that do not have a show car so that they can donate as well and enter the raffles. So tell your friends and neighbors to come out and enjoy the afternoon for a good cause.

Also, to the Indy Scikotics how many in your club and other affiliates are bringing their cars ? We are trying to get an idea of parking and things like that. So if you could let me know that ASAP, I would be so grateful !!!

Hey this goes out to all of you that made our fundraiser so very successful !!! The weather was crappy but you all came out in force and we had a great show !!! I will post pics soon !!! Hope you all had a great time and we will see you for more shows hopefully next year !!!

No problem Jamie, we had a blast. The smaller shows like this tend to bring everyone a little closer. Gave us a chance to meet some new people, and talk to some we haven't seen in a while. Glad we were able to help support your charity. I think everyone had a great time, and I have heard NO complaints from the Scikotics crew.

My wife and I had a great time. we would love to come to some more shows especially after I get some more of my planned modifications done this winter. The steering wheel looks great and I hope to feel up to putting it in soon, stupid gallbladder surgery. Pics would be great whenever people can post them. here are some that I took with my blackberry.
