Default Milwaukee. Bad service on a Toyota dealership :(

Had an engine oil change on my xD yesterday. I bought the car LESS than a month ago. It took them almost 2 hours to replace oil and a filter. Not a big deal. Saturday. No rush
Went back home. Opened the hood and found an oil spillage on the cover and under it. It took me good 2 hours to clean it. Then I found that the driver side door is contaminated with oil inside... dashboard... damn! I didn't expect such service . The service was performed in Toyota certified place by Toyota certified tech. I do have a second service for free but I don't think I'll go there again.
Usually I don't complain... we all people, you know... everybody makes mistakes but not that time. Was so frustrated.

Their Scion Sales Dpt contacted me. Then Service Manager called me and apologized. He offered a free service to clean but I refused. There is no need and nothing to clean in the car already.
I wonder where can I get a repair manual for new xDs? Are there other ways to buy it or I need to call Toyota’s Materials Distribution Center?

I work at a dealership and unfortunatly, most of the times, people fresh out of school or inexperienced apprentices do the oil changes at dealerships. Some of them don't have the brains to clean up after themselves or the cars they work on.

We have this problem at our dealership too...

Metro273, how do you fight with that?

Honestly I'd preffer to stay and watch what a tech is doing on my car.

Hmm...2 hours for lube job?????? Carmax aka Kenosha Scion averaged 30 minutes, tops! My personal lube jobs average an hour (takes me more time to jack the car up! )

Come to my house, I'll do it for free just bring the oil and filter. If its beautiful day, I'll offer my detailing services too.

Seriously, If you're looking for new dealer service....Willing to drive to Illinois? Go to Classic Toyota/Chevy. One of my friends is one of the Chevy techs. He's been known to help out few Toyota owners.

Like a Celica who decided to put on turbo. Owner screwed up the engine and decided to ask Classic to rip out the turbo. None of Toyota techs would do it. The owner got pi$$ed and went to Chevy department. My friend agreed to rip out the turbo and fixed engine back up...for a nasty bill.
LOL

Funny thing is, the owner still goes to Classic Toyota for service!
