Default Moving to Bloomington, IL

For those who don't know, I am moving to Bloomington, IL next week. Goodbye Evansville! Are there any Scions in the area? I searched and didn't find many references. I will be in an extended stay motel for a couple weeks until I find a place to stay. Any suggestions?

Default bloomington

Hey I saw your post about moving. That's where I am originally from and soon to be moving back. I have not seen a lot of scions down there. Mostly "auto zone'd" up neons and cavaliers. Maybe this summer we can see if we can meet up and see if we can get people together!

Ha, I went to school in Decatur at Millikin University. Good luck in Decatur. ps. where will you be staying in decatur? and where do you work?
If you are looking to move to Bloomington I would look in Normal. Normal seems to be a bit cheaper plus it is closer to ISU so there are alot of apartment complexs there plus if you get off of I-55 onto US 51 in Normal and look by the community college (heartland?) there is a new subdivision going up there and the prices are still pretty low on the homes there. What is taking you to Bloomington?! If you get the chance go to the Mitsu plant there and watch them make a new eclipse... They have pretty big car clubs and shows there too. enjoy

Sorry for the slow reply, been moving and without internet.

I am looking in the Normal area.

Electrolux brought me here. Does Mitsu give tours? some manufacturing facilities don't.

Fully moved to Decatur. Living on the north side of town near the new Target (Mound & Macarthur). Working for the big yellow east on Pershing.

Max,

How is Normal?

I am living in Bloomington, not that there's a difference. It's cool, but pretty boring.

Work is going very well.

Boring? Haw-haw-haw! What's funny is that people who work down here commute from Bloomington/ Normal because they say that its boring down here. Tells ya how bad a rep Decatur got.

When I was looking for a house many people told me that I should look in Bloomington and Champaign. I looked and did not see anything worth driving 90-120 Minutes a day for. I decided that it is better to be bored and have a short trip to work than to be bored and have to ____ away two hours at $2.50/ gallon every day.

Good to hear that work is going well. Can I borrow some money? Just kidding.
