I'm so ____ed off, but here's the story. I was going to my girlfriend's house and when I got there I was already parked and before I went to go inside. I went to go look at my mail that I picked up from my mailbox before I went to her house. And I saw a mail for me from Central Auto Body. Which is where I got my car fixed for my bumper? And all of a sudden. BOOM!! I got hit in the bumper by my girlfriend's brother. I opened the door and my jaw dropped. I saw pieces of my taillight on the ground! I have a big dent on my fender and on my bumper. :LKDJSfkla;sjdfklasjdfa. I started panicking, but I kinda felt bad for my girlfriend's brother. BUT MY CAR!!! So I have to take my car to the shop tomorrow morning and get an estimate. But my girlfriend's dad asked me to let him know how much its all gonna be and he's gonna pay for it. He told me not to call our insurance otherwise it'll go up. But I feel bad though. But he still said he'll pay for everything. I called Scion and they said the left taillight is gonna be $174.04 now I gotta see how much its gonna be for the rest.

 

You should call the insurance, it never works out to just have them pay for it. Unless of course they have lots of money. Sorry about the car, that sucks

i'm still waiting for $ from my future father-in-law from August when my fiance's brother backed into my door; which left a nasty dent in addition to the paint being scratched to hell....

 

well just make a police report so there is a record. you dont have to say who hit it. then call the insurance and tell them you were hit and they will make you pay your deductable. probably $500. they will repair it all. then just have your girlfriends dogs brother pay $500. if you have a good insurance company, they wont increase it for a hit and run.

i had my tc hit 5 times in the first year... i know how it works. when my rear bumper was hit and replaces it cost about $1100... and that didnt include the rear tail light... however it did include have a wheel machined
