Hey everyone I'm new to the forums and looking for a cool group of guys or girls to hangout with in my area. I have a 2009 Scion TC TRD Release Series 5.0. I'm currently located in Griffith, Indiana (Northwest Indiana).

A little about myself. I have been a member of a few car clubs and am still active in a Mazda Miata/MX-5 club. Before I owned my TC I had a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire and before that I had a 2004 Nissan 350z. Both where my daily drivers and winter killed me with these cars so I had to get rid of them. So far the TC has been a dream in the winter and maintenance is very cheap on these cars so this one will be staying around for a long time. I also own a 1994 Mazda Miata.

 

I have an RS5 myself, and I'm in the Chicago area. There is a couple more around Chicago I believe. We should summon all the RS5s and take photos haha

 

Yeah that would be pretty cool. I'm about 30 minutes away from Chicago.

 

If you guys want to make the drive, or start your own chapter Team Scionara in MI would love to have you'all. LOL either way Welcome to Scionlife!

 

Thanks for the invite but Ann Arbor is a good 3 1/2 hours for me. I'm looking for something a little more local.

 

Scion Evolution and Scikotics are the two bigger ones in the Chicago area.

Both clubs have a different memberbase and vibe to them. If you want to go the club route, try to get to a meet and greet for each club and see which one fits you the best.

I do know that there are a handful of SE people in your area (Merrillville and Munster).

Yeah lets hear it. I'm still looking for a club but not much going on locally with any of the local guys unless I'm just looking in all the wrong places.

 

Scikotics has a Southern Michigan chapter, as well as a michiana chapter.

Tinley Park is very close to me. What time do you guys meet up? Don't know if I will be able to come out all the time cause I work midnights but it's worth knowing.
