Default Pictures are louder than crunching metal...

--Long story short; Valentine's night, 6:35pm, driving the same direction, he merged from his lane into mine without signalling or looking, crushing my driver-side fender. Thankfully he openly admitted to the police that it was all his fault.
I get my estimate tomorrow.

Look for about a $2200 estimate. Cause the same thing happened to me in my Accord.

Yea that sux, I had a close call the other day. I was driving down the main street in town and 2 Hispanic ladies were in a 4Runner and decided they wanted to share a lane. So i gave them a Wake-Up honk or two , Finnally they see that im occupying the lane next to them swerve back into their own lane and they are laughing !!! I pull up next to her cussing up a storm ...This was about 2 weeks ago and only the end of the 1st week i had my car.

I think it is a conspiracy. Civic owners are jealous we have such a great car and most of us have good taste in mods. I think they are paying people in fart cans and Type-R stickers to take out tC's. Just my opinion, but I am on the lookout.

Oh, yea...sorry to hear about your car. Good luck with the repairs. Perhaps a bodykit is in the future? At least the guy was honest and admitted he was wrong. Glad you are alright.

Glad to hear you're OK and it's just your car.

More and more people are driving poorly these days. I've noticed that within the last few years, road manners are deteriorating at an alarming rate. Maybe I should trade in the tC for an APC. Come on! Merge into me, I dare ya.

Yeah, everything is cool. My back is hurting bad though (went to Urgent care right after the accident). I just talked to the estimator, and he said $4000 is his rough guess, but he hasn't added everything up yet. They also took rubbing compound to my front rim and got most of the marks out, there's just a light scratch left. They are Waiving $200 of my deductable because I chose not to have the wheel replaced (I have curb rash on another wheel anyways). Other wise I'm just having it restored to the way it was.
My g/f and I were talking, and I'm not sure I'm going to keep it. I've been in an accident before that wasn't my fault, and the feeling after getting the car back... the car...it just don't feel...right, like it's not your car. I've been looking at Civic SI's and the new Eclipses, as well as the 07 Sentra. I may also return to Scion for the RS2 tC, but I'm remaining optimistic and will see when I get the car back next week.
For now, my rental is a 06 Tore-a$$ (Taurus)...
