i just got an email from scion evo saying that the new website is now...

and the logo is different! now we need to change or decals again!!!

whats going on here!!!!

i like the old one! but the new one is ok!

We felt that it was time for a fresh new look as we take the club to the next level.

They gave us grief when Greatlakes had their own logo.
They wanted to stay uniform they told us.
Look what happens now.

We had to come up with a fresh new logo for a valid reason.

When researching the current logo for trademark they found that there might be some possible issues.

The new logo only made sense because it was fine to trademark as there were no issues.

All SE chapters have to run the same crest/logo for uniformity. Changes are allowed as long as the logo is kept intact.

Believe me, we would have love to keep the old logo as we spent over 2 years making it recognizable.

This change over is a positive step for the club and bringing it to the next level.

There were tons of sleepless nights and hard work put in by a lot of people that were involved to make this happen.

Each member will receive a sticker and YES they are FREE.

As far as the old logo and other items that were made before, they can still be used but from this point on new products, shirts etc. will have to use the new logo.

We still have tons of the member shirts with the old logo, license plate frames with the old logo, hoodies etc.

Hope everyone understands as we had to to bring us to the next level.

In all reality, you're not even suppose to change the logo. You say you wanna give it a fresh new look, you do that to clothes and hair. Not business, clubs, etc. logos. People know us by our crew name, logo, and who we are. If you go ahead and change it your ruining what we present to shows all the time. Even to cars we pass by every single day.

For the sake of god, dont change it. When did you ever see mc'donalds change the golden arches ??

The old cards are still valid.

We are allowed to use whatever was issued in the past, just can't use the old logo for anything we come up with from this point on.

well if its a law issue, then i can understand. But by all means im not going to take off my old one. It will give me ride more of an antique look in way. Considering new members wont ever have that decal. .. WOO-HOO !!

i do understand the whole thing about "we had to do this to protect the club" but all we needed was a list of who people are that joined.

i mean i meet new people all the time and i find out they join online! half the time they've been part of the club for months and we dont see them nor know anything about them.
i met two new guys last weekend who met up with us!

i dunno!its just wierd...
