I too would like to get in contact with JDMJim or justin for an install of springs. Plus where does Justin work out of? After looking at Fujiz.com, I'm wondering about which to get. I was leaning toward TRD springs just cause I know that they are kind of soft and not too rough. But Jim can you help me about these springs or anyone:

Tanabe DF210 Series Sport Springs (Front -1.7", Rear -2.2") &

Progress Technology Sport Springs (Front -1.8", Rear -1.8")

The Progress has some info on Fjiz.com, but not the Tanabe. These are pretty cheap for springs and was wondering if I'm going to get a cheap product too? (no offense to fujiz.com)

i think you should go with the even drop! unless your going for that mean a$$ look and also get bigger tires in the back...

trd is a slight drop and u will prob want new springs after a year, cuz it will look like stock to u by then.
ive heard good things about progress and not much about tanabe.
check the tc thread on suspension and compare what u want w/ what they offer.
tein s techs r what i have and they r LOW but i dont mind the ride at all. keep in mind if u buy these to go through someone like fujiz of a dealer authorized seller, because there are fake teins being sold.

 

Thanks for the help, please keep it coming. Why is it that the Progress Tech. Sport Springs seem to go from a wide spiral to a narrow spiral? Does this have its pros or cons? Do these springs make it a rough ride? Plus is Fujiz out of IL? Just wondering!

yeah, fuji is an sehi member

 

some springs have what is labeled a 'progressive spring rate' -- this means they become stiffer as the spring is compressed. what this design allows for is a 'stock-like' ride with normal driving, at the same time giving you a firmer/better handling ride when you push thru the corners. it is the best of both worlds for a spring.

Well I decided to not wait and I finally became a member of Scion Evolution. Yeah for me! I sent in my payment and the paper application will be sent tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing what it is like. Look for me posting on there soon. I going to purchase my springs and hopefully they will arrive in time for install day.
