Turbo install happening 4/10/10 Who's in?
If everything goes correctly, i will be cleaning out my sisters room of all my turbo goodies and installing it all on the weekend of april 10th. Me and my friend should be doing it all but he'll be going to work on saturday at 4. anyone wanna come by and hang out for some moral support or lend a helping hand? i have a liquor store and a hungry howies at the end of my street so beer and pizza can be supplied easily. if you haven't installed a kit and just want to learn... feel free to come by too! We are starting friday night after i get off work (about 630 ish) then all day on saturday. by sunday i'll have it all tuned and ready to go!
if you're interested PM me and i'll give you my address and/or phone number!

but, dan hasn't said anything back about tuning that day. have you talked to him lately?

The physical install is intimidating but not too hard.
A 10mm socket and flathead will help in removing the front fascia and undertray
A 12mm socket with an extension and a 12mm open ended wrench will help get the exhaust header off the head and a 14mm socket will get the lower end of the header off the block and s-pipe. I also recommend removing the O2 sensor before pulling the header as they're known to be on there extremely tight.
If you remove the plastic valve cover trim you'll have extra room when working with the vacuum line, pushing wiring through firewall grommet, and fixing the charge pipe to the throttle body. You'll also have easier access to the fuel rail and crankcase vent.
If you didn't get a pretapped oil pan, I strongly recommend you drop the pan to tap it (do not tap in place!) Dropping the pan might be a chore as Toyota has stopped using gaskets but after unbolting it, a couple good mallet strikes on the corner will crack the seal and it will break free.
Here are some detailed instructions from Dezod, which I found very helpful : http://www.dezod.com/files/DZMTCMAN%20V1.75.pdf
