Parked just about next to a RS5 tC today up in brookfield, had light tint all around and a TRD license plate frame. Jaiyla is that yours by any chance?

 

If anyone knows someone that drives a green 3000gt auto w/ license plate starting with "8", do me a favor at slap 'em upside the head.

I had to take off my cruise control because they did the whole "fly by, cut me off, and get on the brakes thing".

Or burn their Fast n' Furious DVD's. Either is cool

 

 

I seen a few 3000gt yesterday but i don't think any of them were green.

There's one that works at the mcdonalds out by me. The girl who drives it asked me at the window if I go down to hwy at all. Then she asked if all the roofs are black on these cars and I just sighed and replied yes.

 

LOL & you should of stumped her and said "they also come in purple".....

I usually get "What type of car is that?"...."Toyota" & if they them interested that's when I usually give them "Scion story"

 

Thats the first time I've ever heard of anyone asking about a black roof. Its really a tinted roof. lol.

 

I always hear people tell me about how cool the glass roof is. Ha.

I just think about the time when hail comes crashing down and shatters it on me.

But Winterizing also means; the sunroof covers are closed. When it snows, I usually jokingly open up the cover and see the fresh snow in layers or interesting ice forms on the roof LOL


Oh I do have something funny to say: last week when I was filling up @ 5AM. I decided to auto fill and wash my windows. Then the pump filled the tank, and I looked at the roof seeing it look NASTY DIRTY so I wash that too. I noticed one of the gas station attendants stepped outside to take a smoke break (I think they were worried, that I was going to drive off cause I let the nossle stay in the car still.) But I overheard her laugh out loud because I was giving my tC a "squeegee wash" LOL

 

 

it's nice having the glass roof. whenever i can give my car a wash, which is rare, i rain-x the roof along with windshield.

 

I have a very tiny rock chip on my passenger side near the wind visor....

I'm too scared wondering what its gonna turn into next Spring? If it does, I'll look into the CF roof panels; probably cheaper anyway.

I finally did it! I'm "tC" & (my personal touch) "TRD" badgeless. After three years, I'm surprised a faded "tC" isn't on the hatch.

Yeah I came from the big car world. My first four cars were a 94 town car a 96 town car a 95 deville and then an LS before I bought my tC. I'm very thankful we only have to clean the top with glass cleaner not wax! I would love a CF roof but would only be interested if Seibon made it. Best CF quality IMO

 

I went from a 1996 Pontiac Firebird, to a 1999 Subaru 2.5 RS, and then to the tC!
