oh it was one of THOSE shows. i hate top 10, top 25, ect..... delevan last year no car over a 70 won. i ended up placing 2nd in my class to the one old guy who has an "autozone" cavalier. was funny cuz my roommate goes " my car will win, the cavy and the ss supercharge will place the rest since we are all chevy's) HA!!!!! i placed 2nd and he placed 3rd :-p was hoping my buddy witht he supra would've won 3rd to throw it back in his face haha

yeah, im gonna have to do a body swap and engine swap before next year. a 67 Camaro body will fit on my xB's frame right? haha And i had a 5 minute conversation with some lady about my "skeeon". She asked if that was how you pronounced it, and i said no its "sigh on". And as she was leaving she was like well that is a pretty neat "skeeon"! grr. She thought it was a Honda Element. Im thinking no, mines not retarded, all the body parts are the same color.

The kids loved my car, but apparently their parents did all the voting. I wrote my name on the ballot sheet and then gave the paper to my little brother to fill out his two favorites. thats the way its supposed to be.

 

 

ya that's why i learned only go to shows w/ classes. like yesterday was participant vote so i knew the old guy with th eautozone cavalier would win cuz they vote

 

im gonna have to start handing out bribes... thats all there is to it.

or decorate my car like a NASCAR... big number on the side, lots of sponsor stickers, all that fun stuff.

 

haha^^ just become friends with some of the older people for the participant voting group my buddy tim is a vette guy (and was/is undercover cop so that works) and i usually hang out with him and a few of his vette buddies at shows, so that kinda helps with some votes, and go compliment old peoples' cars and ask them about it cuz they will usually come look at yours only since they hate sport compact classes

good senario from saturday's show ..........
" roommate tells me that i have no chance against his cobalt ss, an ss supercharged, or the old guy cavi, because i have an import......

look on roommates face when beating him out at show WITH AN IMPORT= priceless " (been better if my buddy got there earlier on and got more votes for his supra so that 2 of 3 at a chevy show would have been imports lol)

 

oh well. ill have to keep trying i guess. it will happen eventually.

GL. im on call and have a wedding to go to ( in fairbury?) and father's day so im taking the weekend off cuz i'll be in indy the following weekend for slamology and then dub the weekend after that.
