hey if you're on this site, sorry to have beaten you so bad over there in hyde park....and yes, i am ALL stock. Maybe we can take a look at each others rides sometime. I'm working on putting a custom turbo together...we can share tips.

a guy in a purple tC...it was quite sad actually.... He was an older black guy and he kept peeling off at every light on 55th. I didn't want to go up against him because i'm completely stock, and i culd tell he had an intake, header, and exhaust. So he had at least 20hp on me. Both of us were manual, i guess i just drove a little better than he.
When we took off at the light it was a dead even pull. He didn't gain on me at all, in fact i started to inch ahead of him, but the next light was coming up so i slowed down.
He rolled down his window and whether i had the supercharger....lol i told him i was completely stock, but he didn't believe me and just peeled off when the light turned green. I'd be upset too if i had ~$600.00 worth of "performance" mods done to my car and a stock tC kept up with me.
So i guess it all comes down to the driver. I slip the clutch as much as possible to get the most traction down to the ground as opposed to just slamming the gas to the floor. My clutch might wear faster, but i have better launching time
