Hey guy's I'm moving to the lombard area for school in 2 months. I know a few years back Elmhurts used to have a huge auto show. Do they still do that? Also anyone in that area?

we've been in contact with elmhurst (as they're our sponsor dealer), but with the way sales are going, this is all still up in the air. obviously we'd still like a show to happen, but with budgets being cut and sales nowhere near what they used to be.. everything is up in the air. we'll definitely update if any new word comes around though!

ya budget cuts are killing dealer shows. I know we're going to be having ours on July 26th. I'm sure they'll be able to find a way to host one too.

why dont we have a big scion show with all the clubs... i mean i dunno if SE's corporate still has issues with their members throwing events with other clubs but as slow as things are this year and nothing having as many shows, how about we throw one big ___ show together? i mean there arent as much scion clubs as they all died out but i think if we host a huge one with all of our resources, it could be a great show!

just my 2 cents

Are there metro parks available with large parking lots? In michigan we have a lot of our large meet's at the parks because they have bbq's and area to run around and park as well.

I talked to John @ Elmhurst last week and he said that they're still shooting for it, but it would likely be later (like early September)
Everything's kinda messed up with the economy, but I told him that people would show up just to be there, even if there wasn't a show with a massive budget. Chicago Scion owners don't need a big budget to have a good time.
