i work there and we can do events for a couple hundred people so id say yeah. u dont race 100 at a time, and theres no way there will be anywhere near 100 people showing up to something anyway.
but w/ people having to pay, i know the only way this will happen is if the dealers foot the cost.

something like this would be an endurance race of at least 10 teams and up to 17 w/ teams of 4-5 drivers.
that would give each club a couple of teams and dealers a chance to send their employees to have fun and make a couple of teams as well.
this would also be located in the arlington dealership area so probably not going to be funded by the other dealers...
so onword to something else that will not take place.

yea good luck trying to get certain dealers(including me hah) to give money up. why are dealers so stingy? hah

 

I'm sure we can get some Echo members together for a softball tournament, it would be the best thing for everyone since it can be the most fun.. think of a BBQ get together with the softball tourney in the middle.. so shoe, please feel free to post up on our forum spread the word out and get a date as well as a place to do it, preferably somewhere in the middle of everyone to make it easier and well distance wise, since most of us Echo members are far northwest suburbs.

eh cuz times are tough right now in the auto industry (except for people who are finally trading in the gas guzzlers) at least the chicago dealerships do stuff. the scion one down here doesn't do anything except for have a few for scions for sale, no promo's, no shows, ect...

 

Well...Softball sounds good....and so does CIR....but heres a thought....how bout paintball....?

 

OOOOOOOOOOO..... paintball... that would be pretty rowdy... lots of fun too... but i think we would all bet better off with a softball/BBQ....

 

how bout a straight up day in the park... bbq volleyball, bags, softball, soccer, football, kites ...whatever just a plain SCION gathering.

 

Lets all look @ our calanders 1st! what weekend seems to be the best for us all? no big shows, nothing around other states, something in the MIDDLE of the month!

CHECK THIS OUT! FOR SOMEHTHING LIKE THIS! WE CAN GO AHEAD WITH SOFTBALL! (its cheaper and all you need is a bat and a ball) we can make bases with branches and bear boxes. BBQ, thats easy, like 10 bucks a person or someone brings something that helps!

and i hate to be the one to point this out, but who are the athletic people in the clubs, cuz i dont see to many.

and if we're gonna play a sport, it should be futbol!

 

how about July 12th ?? it gives us time to plan ahead. And where we gonna have the BBQ ??? In the city or in the burbs ?? theres a HUGE field in Romeoville i always pass up. Not sure the requirements on BBQing. Unless we want to get a permit for a forest preserve because i know we can play softball there. What do you all say... ? Lets get this thing moving !!!
