I love it. I feel like a kid. I suppose its my "mid life crisis" car seeing as Im older than most people driving them.

I got a used 08 with only 4000 miles on it. It came with an injet exhaust which Im not sure about yet. Its kinda loud for me, and Im not lookin to race. It also has a crappy aftermarket grill. It looks like it was chrome and painted over black. The black is all peeling.

Anyways, what Id like to do is tint the windows and replace the grill. Anybody know anyone, or a shop, on the North side (Rogers Park) that they would recommend? If someone steps up with the services themselves I may be interested in trading the injet exhaust as the dealer I bought from has the stock muffler for me.

hmm i have a stock grill from my 2005 tc still sitting in my garage, its not like brand new or anything but id sell it cheap if you want it, im up in mchenry il though pm me sometime

Yeah I cant make that either. My work schedule kinda sucks for stuff like this. I work nights Mon-Fri and afternoons Weds-Fri. I'm lookin at some BBQ someones having on the 25th. Maybe I'll see ya there.

Its a stick. Its also SCM, I love the color. Its not even close to purple like it looked in the pics. Most people think its black from far away.

The exhaust is growin on me. My neighbors are gonna hate me rollin home at 4AM every morning. I may have to tone it down just to maintain neighborly peace.

is it a cat-back, axel back, or whole exhaust system. i have a precision muffler axel back with a magnaflow muffler. its the most quiet best sounding exhaust out there imo (ive had four different exhausts already) and im thinking about getting rid of it because im about to drop my car and im affraid its to low. would you possibly want to do a trade?

Its interesting that you ask. I was lookin around online and could only find axleback exhausts for tc's from injet. Doesnt that limit its effectiveness. Isnt catback much better at achieving higher airflow and less back pressure. If its mostly for show (sound) then Im probably puttin the stock back on.

And thanks for the offer of a trade, but Im gonna learn more about things before I go shippin stuff around the country.

the injen only comes in axel-back...true however a lot of people will buy aftermarket headers,s-pipe, and mid-pipes from like megan or dcsports. the injen axel-back alone should not be loud by itself. thats why i wondering if it had anything else on it
