is there any good tint shop around in the chicagoarea because i wanna get mine soon!!! and graphiczone charges $234 for everything but the windshield. anyone know anything cheaper or am i already getting a good price?

Graphix Zone is more expensive compared to what i've seen offered thru SE-Chicago.com... GZ is a great place to get vinyle work done... I used them all the time for the previous car that i had, and would highly recommend them if you are looking to do "wraps" or vinyle work. Tints on the other hand can be had else where for a better price.

i know this topic is a lil old, but anyone get hassled by cops for front window tints? what percent were the tints? i want to tint my fronts, anything greater that 35%, not dark.

 

many people have gotten stopped some have not
not really worth the hassle, but if ur gonna do it anyway, keep it light.

signs by design in midolthian do good work i payed 180 for mine all the way around minus windsheild with a life time warrenty. They will go as dark as you want.

 

i do them at my shop in Arlington heights, done many member cars of SE in chicago, i have my fronts 32%, haven't got pulled over ****KNOCKS ON WOOD*****

 

Like i said in a different thread it is a matter of time until you get pulled over, buddy had his tints for a year and a half no problems and just last week he got pulled over at a stop light. He was just sitting there and cop pulled up.

lots of places do it. Just look in the yellow pages. Just make sure they have a 1 year warranty and that they dont charge more then $180

Rage, how much do just do the back windows? I wanna go darker back there, but I don't wanna deal with cops, so I'm gonna leave the front windows alone.
