i failed because my tein basics are too stiff in the front, lol. but turbo is good to go!

o well, my friend with basics is going in on wednesday so i'll update how he does.

i think my front is stiff because the weight of the turbokit is preloading the front springs, making them stiffer.

btw, themarco_, was that you trying to sell your wheels on FH? if it was, what kinda wheels you gonna get?

so did you see my post on forums hawaii before the site crashed? just put on your s-techs on and when you list your suspension you still can write teins. and you wont be lying when you put back the basics.

 

nope, missed it before it crashed. anyway, friend passed with basics earlier this week.

im gonna go back one more time, and if i fail, im gonna put my progress springs in (traded my friend my s-techs for his progress + $100, lol). however, if i do do that, im gonna see if my friend has his stock upper mounts cuz im not taking apart the coilovers twice just to pass recon.

i dont know who that is. i've actually only seen one tc with the kaminari kit, it was silver.

if the car your talking about had a turbo kit and black wheels, i may know who your talking about though.

your supposed to get it if you modify suspension, have wheels 2 in. or more over stock, etc.

a lot of people dont get it though. i got it cuz when i went on a cruise back in december, i got a ticket for no recon.
go on forumshawaii and you can see all the people who complain about getting recon tickets, lol.

umm get the ferry right in july....um maui peeps like come and compete too or jus cruise em w/ se hawaii! se maui chapter and team scion session! we no like go through the hassle of getting pulled over! there is no specific laws for us when inter island cars get there? same for lifted and slammed cars n trucks!

we hella skyin here and plenty cars n trucks slammed to da earth!! so i dont know whats goin on there for us other islands? do we have to get a recon to roll on oahu?
