Angel Eyes install in houston
im gettin my oznium angel eyes in the mail today and i really want to install them today...anyone have any experience? pppppppppppllllllllllleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaassssssssseeeeeeeeee???????????
There's a few threads on here about it, but I'll let you in on my quick secrets
1. Don't flex the rings at ALL
2. The ballasts hate water, dunk them in liquid rubber. Its the tube of goo they sell at hardware stores as "Tool dip" to repair handles on pliers.
3. Put dielectric grease in the connectors to keep water out. If hard water gets in, they can melt when you power them up.
4. Glue hates glass. You can use some UV resistant clear shrink tube over the glass rings to give the glue something to bite to. 3 points of contact should be good (top left, top right, bottom.
Good luck!
