Default Another Scikotic crash....

Carlos, the owner of the first xA in Oklahoma, crashed last night. Someone stopped in front of him on the snowy roads and he hit the brakes to avoid hitting them. Next thing you know he is going through a ditch, then a barbed wire fence.

From what I saw when I went to get him it is pretty bad. Front bumper, hood, headlights, both front fenders, drivers door, left rear door, and huge scratches down the roof from the barbed wire.

He was lucky in that he wasn't hurt at all.

I guess the first estimate he got was pretty damn high, so it might get totaled.

I'm hoping if they do total it he will buy it back or get a new Scion. He's one of the OG's of Scikotics, been here since the beginning....

^^^^^you must be terrified about crashing in the tC then??

seriously, I hope everything is okay, about every crash I hear about, the cars are horriby scared and/or disfigured, but the people seem to be okay, left with only scratches, bruises and such, or nothing at all, thats a good thing.

.......... did i just quote Martha Stewart............

Default another wreck

Glad to here Carlos is OK. My Bride and I have had our share of wrecks.
Let me say coming out of any wreck unhurt is the most important thing. They stll have plenty of cars on lots.

She goes in today for a CAT scan of her brain and neck area from on going head aches and neck pain. Not a good thing when you allready have a plate in your neck from a 15 year old learnig to drive moms suv, and plows into her in my 70 Baja bug.

The stupid people we share the roads with. GOSH!

Carlos, glad your ok man!! Let me know if you need anything.

I really hope your insurance takes good care of you, I know how much you loved your car and how much time you spent on it, you really take good care of that motor and the car was always spotless. So keep your head up and make v.2 better than the first!!

PERSONALLY, if they total it, I'd get another blue one, I really like that color....... .......

Glad to hear you're ok Carlos. A vehicle is something that can be replace, so just keep your head up man! My prayers are with you, and hope the insurance company thing goes well. Take it easy.

Man, I'm glad you're okay! I really liked your xA. I sit here taking insurance claims all day...I don't know the dollar amount, but from the damage it sounds like there's a pretty good chance it will be totalled. Time for a Salsa Red xA for our Latin Lover! Or...actually...you could step up to an xB in Salsa Red with the 2006 model!

I think his first estimate was $6500.

And, if it's totaled the choices are Scion tC or Mazda 3.
