So is Scikotics just going to keep growing or is someone going to grow a sack and actually start another club to start competing against these people.

Everytime I read a post its Scikotics this and that.. WOW !!

i have nothing against them but would like to see some change.. I mean they have practically ruind Scion life as a communication tool here becasue everyone posts on there sight now .. So there is never any new threads ..

TSE takes over here in Tx, took most club participation at Heatwave in Corpus, Scikotics out number us but we out participate them...

i've sometimes wondered about branching away from TSE and starting my own group, but i would kinda miss those guys...

Try to open up your mind and see about joining one of the multi-car car clubs in Texas. There are plenty of crews that follow the quality > quantity rule when it comes to cars. You will find more knowledgeable and more helpful people in those crowds. Not just people that throw anything and everything at their rides.

 

Well i for one am a ft worth member of scikotics the new chapter started up not to long ago. We have about 20 members in that short period of time. Ive known pooty since style wagons was around.

Off the record we are different then the dfw crew, and most that are in it were long time dfw members but now roll with funkytown.

We host meets, we have dont a can food drive for people from hurricane ike distruction, we meet just about every thursday and saturday. now possibly fridays in burleson. Yes you can start your own club but its mainly scikotics around the dfw area.

Tomarrow around 830-900 we will be meeting off 30 and eastchase in arlington at the wataburger till around 11 when everyone leaves. All are welcome to come out and hang with us.

Don't get me wrong I loved being in SW it rocked the house.. but its hard REAl hard being a small club of QUALITY when you are against a large QUANITY..

And dont get me wrong either I am not dissing the Scikotics at all just would like to see SL alive again.. Hell I mean the moderator in here doesnt hardly post in here because he is to busy on Scikotics page so much.. Love yah Lupe...

So i was just acting out on my behalf Scikotics do have some nice cars ..

just like our fellow member from TSE just said, he really wouldn't leave his club, cause WHY,? its more than just a club its MORE LIKE FAMILY....and i understand where his coming from, i know tse, they the koolest...we get down all the time, and know how to have fun

and see thats; when people come up like that,

Im glad that our name its upthere, and we know we are someone that we being talked about!!!



I do feel you pooty about competition, but when you compettin' you are not competing just against a full club, but even own members, plus if someone just stays on their city you see just the same cars, but whenever you travel to different areas thats where you will see what's outthere.....

 

dude when i wrecked my 07 tC and i was on the market for a new car i had bought a GTI, had it for a day, passed by a fellow TSE member on the street, and i felt kinda bad, took the GTI back the next day and went down the street to a scion dealership and bought my 08 BSP tC haha... I would've missed all my fellow members

being part of a club, or large group is overrated and defenitely does not project automatic awesomeness...

 

i can say one thing tho... wether ur a sciko or TSE or whatever other scion group out there... its just a name, it means nothing, we're all scion owners part of something bigger for one purpose, to join up with others and get to know ppl and share our passion for scions... a friend of mine that i tried to get into TSE is now with Scikotics, its just a name, we're all cool with each other with the same purpose, and im sure whatever other ppl that start their own group will be acknowledged by any club as well... we're all the same, just different name is all... but i do kinda agree, in SA all we have is TSE and Scikotics, it would be nice to see a little change tho... i got approached by a new group the XTC's (xtreme tc's) its a group of nothing but tC's, cool ppl in their own way... and im TSE and i go hang out with them every now and then whenever they invite lol

plus scikotics is a powerful force here in san antonio,

but my schedule sucks so i cant go to the meets and the shows

i wonder why even before when i had my xB or my 07tC i never got tagged by a sciko, and when i get my black one with the TSE sticker i do get tagged... wth is up with that lol

 

scikotics has been small until recently.whn the tC and xB2 took over. now we are serious about it. have fun getting dominates sunday by scikos at san marcos this sun

StyleWagons just kinda fizzeled out because of all of are automotive intrest, we bought new cars started working on them, lost time to do the scion thing you know how it goes..


I miss SL just being a major point in the scion community being able to just jump on here and talk to peeps about meets and stuff .. Now there is nothing happening anymore.. SUCKS
